  SYSTEM FOR PURIFICATION OF SOLID AND LIQUID WASTES OF SMALL ENTERPRISES FROM OIL PRODUCTS
The system represents a center for collecting and treating the wastes of small enterprises, which do not have potentialities to treat wastes. The purification technology involves several stages: collection and transportation of wastes to the purification site; separation of oil products from liquid (water) and solid (soil, sand, rubbish) fractions; recycling of oil products for national economy needs; purification of water, soil, sand, rubbish from residual amount of oil products in bioreactors by using oil oxidizing microorganisms.

  DEVICE FOR BIOLOGICAL PURIFICATION OF STRONGLY POLLUTED INDUSTRIAL WATER WASTES
The device is intended for utilization of water wastes. Utilization of pollutions: phenol and its nitro-chlorine derivatives; cresoles, xyloles, tolyene and other aromatic compounds, acetone and complex ketones, alcohols and other solvents, fatty acids, alkanes, oil and oil products, lubcicating-cooling liquids and oils, vanishes and paints, etc. Purification degree up to 0,2-0,5 permissible concentration. Water wastes polluted with heavy metal ions and R-nuclides (low activity) are purified by more than 98%.

  A TECHNOLOGY FOR CULTIVATION OF HIGHLY ACTIVE RESISTANT MICROORGANISMS CAPABLE OF DEGRADING ENVIRONMENTAL ANTHROPOGENIC POLLUTANTS
The technology is intended to produce biomass of oil-oxidizing strains such as Acinetorbacter sp. HB-1, Mycobacterium flavescence EX-91 and Pseudomonas sp. strain5. The technology emplies the use of the association of cultures to utilize different oil pollutants.

  A TECHNOLOGY FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE PROCESSING OF ZINC-CONTAINING OXIDES
A new pyrometallurgical technology has been developed for processing slag, sludge, slurry, ore, and other intermediate products and wastes containing oxides of iron and zinc to extract the zinc and iron.

  A MULTIPURPOSE ECOLOGICALLY CLEAN ELECTROCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY FOR UTILIZING METAL WASTES BASED ON TUNGSTEN AND ITS ALLOYS
A new, ecologically clean technology has been developed for electrochemically processing metal wastes of tungsten; it is based on the direct anodic dissolution of the wastes in an ammonia electrolyte with the subsequent evaporation of the solution and isolation of ammonium paratungstate (APT), a marketable salt.

  NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR PROCESSING AND DESTROYING INDUSTRIAL WASTES AND GARBAGE
The process of super-diabatic combustion discovered in Russia allowed for the realization of the latest and most environmentally sound technology of incinerating industrial wastes and garbage. During the first stage, gasification of solid and liquid wastes is produced in the reactor in the super-diabatic mode. The resulting product is a gas containing carbon monoxide, hydrogen and carbon hydrides as combustible components. When wastes including complex organic compounds are processed the resulting gas product, besides hydrogen, carbon oxide and monoxide, etc., contains aerosol of very fine hydrocarbon or resin drops whose composition is determined by the nature of processed raw materials...

  PURIFICATION OF POULTRY AND CATTLE FARM SEWAGE BY THE METHOD OF GROWING NUTRIENT YEAST
An original installation for purifying sewage from poultry and cattle farms by the method of growing nutrient yeast has been developed and tested. The basic unit of the installation is a highly efficient energy-saving fermenter of the authors' own design. New technological know-how embodied in the installation precludes the discharge of sewage and makes possible the production of high-quality protein.

  NEW EQUIPMENT FOR TREATING SEWAGE AND TECHNOLOGICAL FLUIDS
The equipment in question, gravitational dynamic separators (GD-separators), allows for effective separation of the various mixtures and emulsions formed by such combinations of liquids and water and petroleum, fats and water, and oil and water. This new equipment is designed to prevent sources of water from becoming polluted, to resolve technological problems, and to treat sewage and separate it from petroleum, petroproducts, fats, oil and grease. It is also designed to separate petroleum and technological hydrocarbon raw materials from water, and detergents from undissolved petroproducts.

  INSTALLATION FOR THERMAL DESALINATION OF NATURAL AND SEWAGE WATER
A small residential district, a large industrial factory and individual consumers in areas with saline water reserves can obtain from 2001 up to 100 cub.m of fresh water per day using environmentally-safe single-stage installations for thermal desalination, developed on the basis of advances in the design, manufacture and operation of evaporating systems designed for spacecraft thermal control. In addition, the installations can be successfully used to obtain distilled water, purify salt-containing sewage water, concentrate production solutions in metallurgy, energy generation, in electroplating, and in chemical and other industries.

  INSTALLATIONS FOR PURIFYING MATERIALS FROM SALTS OF HEAVY AND NON-FERROUS METALS
An environmentally clean technology for ion-exchange extraction of salts of heavy and non-ferrous metals from solid pulp-like substances has been fully developed and implemented in the form of a stationary installation. The closed sorption process of extraction does not require any use of chemically harmful reagents.

  HIGH-TEMPERATURE NEUTRALIZATION OF SUPER TOXICAL SUBSTANCES
The proposed method is based on the thermochemical transformation of the neutralized substance and envisages: high-temperature decomposition process ( at 2,000-3,500C), final oxidation, chemical binding of the products resulting from decomposition, and a high-speed neutralization and catching system for poorly toxic chemical compounds.
