  TECHNOLOGY OF RECYCLING WORN PASSENGER AND TRUCK TIRES WITH METAL AND TEXTILE CORD AND TECHNICAL RUBBER GOODS

Our Company has developed the technology of strengthening of surface layers of steels and alloys by means of impulse electron beam. The modified layer is formed by action of fast heating (heating duration is about 2 microseconds) and fast cooling. The layer thickness varies within the limits of 10 - 60 microns and its structure is close to amorphous one.

Polypropylen and compounded co-polymers of propylene - Novokom, produced by means of mixing in an extruder of polypropylene and co-polymers with filling agents and pigments and further granulated are used in automobile industry for the production of parts of the car heating system.

  BUILT-IN DEVICES FOR DIAGNOSING FRICTION UNITS
Built-in (onboard) technical devices have been developed for diagnosing friction units by analyzing attrition products in the lubrication system; they ensure the timely detection of wear and prevention of consequent breakdowns, and a saving of fuel and lubricants, spare parts, and maintenance costs. The devices operate on the principle of the deposition of attrition particles in a pickup unit, with the subsequent registration of their mass by an electronic assembly. The instrumentation makes it possible to evaluate the running-in and wear of the principal friction units, obtain timely information about imminent wear-related failures and avert breakdowns, make maximum use of service life, undertake repairs when they are really needed rather than according to a formal schedule, reduce fuel and lubricant consumption, perform indirect assessments of the lubricating efficiency of lubricants, fix justified lubrication intervals for the lubrication systems of machines and mechanisms, and improve the quality and standards of servicing. The new devices have no counterparts anywhere in the world, differing from existing wear-monitoring facilities in that they lend themselves to differentiated determinations of the mass both of ferromagnetic attrition particles and of the attrition particles of nonferrous metals and alloys (Sn, Cu, AI and others).

  NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR IN-LINE REPAIR (WITHOUT DISMANTLING) OF WORN FRICTION PARTS AND UNITS WITH REPAIR-RESTORING COMPOUNDS
When the RRCs are used in contact areas of friction parts, a modifies protective layer is gradually formed in passing micro-metallurgical process under pressure and temperature applied. The protective layer thus formed is in nature a monocrystal grown up on a crystal lattice of the metal surface layer. Diffusion of the RRCs from the surface layer inside the metal also enhances structure of the metal crystal lattice. As a result, pre-surface layer produced in such a way is stronger that a layer obtained through traditional repair methods. Friction index of the new layer is lower by several times. The surface layer formed during the process enables to eliminate a direct metal-to-metal contact and thus prevent electrochemical corrosion and hydrogen cracking; none of traditional oils and additives available on the market today cant provide the same result. Therefore, a wear-resistant material possessing perfect anti-corrosion and dielectric properties, is appeared in the friction and contact areas.
