| Our Company has developed the technology of strengthening of surface layers of steels and alloys by means of impulse electron beam.
The modified layer is formed by action of fast heating (heating duration is about 2 microseconds) and fast cooling. The layer thickness varies within the limits of 10 - 60 microns and its structure is close to amorphous one. |

| A LASER ATTACHMENT FOR NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED MILLING MACHINES |
| The newly developed attachment makes the advantages of laser technologies available to small and medium-sized companies that have numerically controlled metal-working tools but cannot afford to acquire and service expensive laser machine tools and installations.
The attachment serves for the programmed laser-beam machining of parts made of various materials in numerically controlled (CNC) milling machines. This includes shape-cutting along an external or internal contour, marking, engraving, welding, and hardening by heat treatment. The attachment is particularly effective in machining parts made of hardened or stainless steel, and in replacing die forging in small-lot production.

| PUMP FOR VISCOUS LIQUIDS |
| A pump has been developed for high-viscosity liquids polluted with organic and mineral impurities.
This type of pump was selected for use in soap-manufacturing equipment for pumping soap-base liquids. Given the liquid's extreme susceptibility to changes in its properties due to temperature and especially due to its viscosity, and because the liquid contains many mechanical impurities, this pump has only one propeller. |

| In its design, operation and
control characteristics, the folding propeller differs fundamentally from known
helicopter propellers because blades of the propeller may be extended prior to
takeoff or during flight of an aircraft, transforming it into a helicopter
propeller (enabling the aircraft to perform vertical landing or takeoff as an
ordinary helicopter) or be fully retracted (transforming it into a compact
assembly which may be easily and readily put into the fuselage or covered with
cowlings), enabling the aircraft to transform itself into an ordinary airplane
and fly at any required speed. |
