Autonomous
heating system
An autonomous heating system used
nowadays comprises one or more local sections (by number of premises to be
heated) in which liquid electric heating devices are installed, and a control
unit to manage the system.
In the newly-developed design,
oil radiators with two heating elements are used as electric heating devices.
Each local radiator has a temperature controller and a control unit includes two
automatic switches for each local section. One heating element of oil radiators
is connected with the first automatic switch installed in this local section
through temperature controller. The other heating element of oil radiators is
directly connected with the second automatic switch installed in this local
section.
In the second modification
of the autonomous heating system, control unit is equipped a timer-containing
programmer; the number of control channels corresponds to the number of local
sections (Fig.). In the third modification of the autonomous heating
system, oil radiators are plugged to a power supply line through bolted electric
connections.
