Casing Heads
are supposed to be installed at the wellhead of new steam-injection wells
using pretensioned casing cementing technology (See picture).
Casing Head provides:
- sealing annulus between production casing and
surface casing;
- fixing of production casing pretension;
- compensation of production casing axial trip
during operation with partial compensation of its thermal extension without
loss of tightness.
Casing Heads demonstrate
failure-free operation in the regions of moderate, frigid and tropical climate.
