METHOD OF AND DEVICE FOR CLEANING RUBBER CRUMB FROM TEXTILE CORD

FIELD: tire industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of worn-out automobile tires and wastes of rubber industry reinforced by textile cord. According to proposed method, sintering of textile cord is carried out in screen drum. Before first stage of dispersal, particles of textile cord are formed into sinters which are then separated by air and sucked out. In case of combined process of cleaning of rubber crumb from textile cord and its dispersing into fraction, velocity of air flows in each suck-out line is regulated independently by gates installed in each line. Material passing through screen is formed into flow along longitudinal axis of drum, and textile cord sinters are sucked out from flow by means of air. Screen drum is furnished with blades. Screen of device is made in form of drum. Axis of drum is tilted relative to horizon. Drum is covered from top by semicylindrical casing and from bottom, with casing provided with flat inclined walls. Panel is secured on one wall for plane-parallel displacement. Panel with possibility of angular displacement is secured on other wall. Screen is essentially sectional cylindrical skeleton. Device is provided with bell-mouth suction branch pipe. Outlet sectional of suction pipeline is extension of branch pipe and it is adjusted by gate. Charging device is installed from side of lifted end face of drum. One chute is designed to discharge large-size sinters of textile cord from drum. Screened rubber crumb cleaned from textile cord is discharged cord is discharged through other chute. Fine textile cord sinters separated from tuber crumb are delivered by air flow through pipeline into pneumatic transportation system.

EFFECT: improved quality of rubber crumb received by processing of worn-out tires owing to considerable decrease of content of textile cord in rubber crumb. 4 cl, 2 dwg
