SUBSTANCE: method designed for decontaminating
and recovering radioactive wastes of nuclear power stations, research
organizations, industrial and medical enterprises using various radioactive
isotopes involves following procedures: liquid and/or solid wastes are placed in
liquid medium and additionally activated by cavitation which is generated in
liquid medium by applying cyclic alternating loads. In the process these loads
change medium volume.
EFFECT: facilitated treatment of wastes and
