A
method of liquid flow measuring
The method used nowadays to
measure a liquid flow provides for excitement of electromagnetic field in a
controlling liquid flow; measurement of electromotive force induced on a
electrode system; production of informational signal based on the measured
electromotive force value; adjustment of exciting electromagnetic field
intensity.
Unlike the typically used method,
the newly-patented method provides for exciting electromagnetic field adjustment
depending on current flow rate of controlling liquid. The flow rate is
determined based on the received electromotive force values, considering that
the intensity of exciting electromagnetic field should be minimal for the given
current controlling liquid flow rate information signal accuracy.
The second modification of the
new method presumes to take into account controlling liquid flow velocity
dynamics, and/or controlling liquid parameters, and/or specific conditions (parameters)
existed during the measurement of controlling liquid flow velocity to determine
exciting electromagnetic field intensity minimum.
To adjust electromagnetic field
intensity in accordance with the third formula of the patent, exciting
electromagnetic field intensity is changed in inverse proportion to the current
flow rate of controlling liquid.
