PLANT FOR FRAGMENTATION OF WORN AUTOMOBILE TIRES

FIELD: utilization and reworking technical rubber articles, automobile tires in particular.

SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes pressure generator, booster chambers, cutting module with circular and radial knives, locking unit and bed frame which consists of stack of horizontal plates tightened by struts and hold-down plate secured on struts for longitudinal motion. Plates of stack are provided with coaxial holes forming seats for pressure generator and vertical chambers surrounding it. Each booster chamber has working cylinder with movable piston whose end face is engageable with cutting module and booster compartment which is extension of working cylinder. Cutting module is mounted for longitudinal motion over guides of booster compartment and struts. Cutting edges of radial and circular knives are located in one plane perpendicularly relative to axis of cutting module. Cavity of pressure generator is communicated with cavity of each working cylinder by means of horizontal passages made in one plate of stack. Tire locking unit is formed by hold-down plate and end faces of booster compartments.
