A
long-standing issue of a sleep
Insomnia,
or sleep disorder, appears when it’s difficult to fall asleep, or when a sleep
period is too short, or if a night sleep doesn’t bring a sense of rest.
Very often it seems to people
suffering from insomnia that they don’t sleep at all. Many of these people
point out that they want to sleep during a day, but when a night comes they
can’t fall asleep or even if managed to dose, they wake up too quickly.
Frequently these people see the same dreams.
But sleep disorder doesn’t only
lead to insomnia development; very often sleep disorder is a symptom of many
other illnesses.
There’s a very ancient
formation in man’s cranicerebrum, a talamus. Talamus is a kind of a biological
computer gathering all information about organism state (sugar level in blood,
salt amount, body temperature, inflammation in any part of the body, etc.) and
external conditions (ambient temperature, wind, day or night). Talamus
coordinates organism functionality with external conditions and has compartments
providing a right order of sleep and sprightliness.
Infection illness, long-term pain
(a tooth-ache, etc.), bile bladder inflammation, highmoritis, head cold,
radiculitis, stress situation at home or at work could cause sleep disorder. A
lack of a valuable sleep further worsens an organism’s health state, and
organism’s resistance capabilities go down. This, in its turn, leads to new
illnesses. Thus, the so-called “domino effect principle” is developing (one
illness initiate another).
So, it’s very important to save
normal sleep to give the organism an opportunity to proper fight with illnesses
instead of simple recovery after a sleepless night.
Insomnea can easily be identified
by complains on sleep absence as well as by the look of a patient who has edema
under the eyes, red eyes, dry lips, flabbiness, suppression.
To effectively treat insomnia,
roots of the illness should by properly found out. If the illness is caused by
bad life experience or stress, sedatives are helpful. Bath with a warm water and
coniferous extract, light neck and back massage, head brushing with a soft
massage brush are recommended to recover in this case. It also advised to drink
an infusion of mint or leonorus, fenozepam or tazepam. It also recommended to
turn on soft light in the room for over all night (if a man has got insomnia, he
can’t fall asleep in the darkness). There’s advice to read poetry or “very
clever” literature that can’t be food for brains. Poetry, due to its
intrinsic rhythm, coincides with a natural heart and cerebrum rhythm and
positively influences the overexcited consciousness. “Very clever”
literature helps to “switch off” the brains, preventing from the perception
of misunderstood information influx. After that, not turning the light on, try
to fall asleep again.
It’s also very important to
follow established lifestyle and not to sleep too much (no more than 8 hours per
night for adults and no more than 10 hours per night for children) as well as to
walk (not less than an hour) before night sleep.
Lunch should be light as well:
exclude from your menu raw vegetables and fruit and rye bread, since this food
bubbles in the stomach and doesn’t allow the man to fall asleep.
If insomnia is caused by fever or
heavy sickness, that’s a symptom of nervous system exhaustion. Patients with
this kind of illness should eat vitamin-rich food for dinner, have after-dinner
sleep for 1-2 hours and consume sedatives ordered by doctors tonight.
