Secrets
of shaman medicine
Shamans help their
patients by their absolute confidence in possibility of their patient recovery.
Wherever shamans were, in any place they were able to find and prepare medicine
from available herbs, roots or animals for themselves and their patients. In
addition, shaman treatment was always a success. What’s the secret of shaman
medicine?
All shamans believed in Supreme
energy (power) which produced itself during meditation session (falling in
trance). On searching ethiological factors (reasons of illness), they first
investigated man’s psychics and then, through the influence on it, made
patient’s organism fight with illness. At the beginning of the visit, shaman,
beating a bell (or a drum, depending on the place where he was born, i.e.
whether shaman was an Indian from America or an aborigine from Russia’s Far
North, for instance), forced a patient to concentrate on his diagnosis and to
seek at the subconscious level methods of therapeutical impact on the organism
in order to recover from illness.
At the same time, during a ritual
dance, shaman, holding a bunch of different herbs in the hand, periodically and
step-by-step was coming up to his patient. If the patient positevely reacted on
shaman’s coming-up at subconscious level at a moment, shaman learnt that
that’s the herb the patient then needed. When the ritual dance was completed,
shaman prepared a drug from this herb for the patient.
This self-treating method exists
at subconscious level and is successfully used by ill animals as well. You have
already seen how a dog or a cat, having contaminated the stomach, ran to a
meadow or a forest and looked for special vegetation. When the required herb was
found, the dog (cat) began to quickly eat it. It should be noted that when the
dog is healthy, it never eats this plant.
The root of the recovery is in
this power of automatic searching a natural medicinal component which mankind
lost when found intellectual mind.
