METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPOSITIONING OF SAUSAGE LINKS

FIELD: meat industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves using two endless conveyor belts for transportation of sausages forming sausage links along first portion in first direction; deviating sausage links in second direction and moving sausage links along second portion, with conveyor belt spacing being selected so that said spacing is larger during transportation in second direction than in first direction. Apparatus has first portion for transportation of sausage links in first direction. Conveyor belts arranged on first portion are spaced from one another by first distance. Apparatus is further provided with first deviating device, on which conveyor belts are deviated in parallel with one another from first direction to second direction. Sausage links are transported along second portion in second direction to higher level. Conveyor belts on second portion of apparatus are spaced from one another by second distance, with second distance exceeding first distance.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in changing position of sausage links during manufacture process and simplified maintenance. 17 cl, 5 dwg
