Scientific News Economy and economic analyst HOW BUSINESSMEN AND BUSINESSWOMEN RESPOND ON CRITICISM
How
businessmen and businesswomen respond on criticism
Good criticism is a gift for a
man it’s addressed. If this man understands his mistakes and demerits, he will
never do them once again.
It was found that women, on the
contrary to men, more seriously accept criticism targeted at them, and take it
into account as a good experience.
This
situation happens because women, stepping up in the career hierarchy, have to
overcome obstacles laid by men who think that there is no room for women in
business. Therefore, increased requirements women face make them carefully take
into account all their mistakes and demerits. Otherwise, women will not be able
to compete with men dominating in business.
If a woman succeeded in job
career and became a manager of a company, she, nevertheless, often continues to
listen to any criticism aimed at her, and doesn’t punish those employees who
ventured to criticize her.
On the contrary, men, having
easily reached the top of the career stair, usually inclined to consider that
they are already at the Olympus, and very often they reject any, even valuable
and correct, criticism. As a result, incompetent people, who don’t know the
field they work in and who even make matters worse by punishing and firing those
specialists who took courage to criticize them, even though this criticism was
righteous, often rule companies.
Therefore, in the course of time
only bootlickers and four-flushers, who are as incompetent in the field they are
responsible for as their boss, but who managed to cater to the boss, will
surround such a manager.
Statistics presents the results. Companies run by
women generally receive more profit; in addition, these companies are typically
several times rarer bankrupted than companies run by men.
