HAND SET FOR ELECTROPLATING

FIELD: electrodeposition, manual electroplating of joints, welds, flaws in coating.

SUBSTANCE: hand set has vessel for electrolyte, anode and contact bus for machined article connected to power supply source. Set comes in the form of chamber made of elastic material, is fitted with handle to press it against machined surface and to move it over this surface. Hollow cylinder is mounted with clearance with reference to walls of chamber and machined surface inside chamber. Element produced from dielectric material is positioned between upper part of chamber and hollow cylinder. Anode is placed inside hollow cylinder, electrolyte is fed from vessel from above through inlet hole and its surplus is discharged through clearance between chamber and hollow cylinder.

EFFECT: set enables good-quality electroplating to be deposited under any conditions, not necessarily at factory, set is simple reliable and easy in application and control and does not require scarce material for its manufacture. 3 cl, 1 dwg
