The traditional way of detecting faults in special systems of tanks and
infantry fighting vehicles is carried out by measuring electric parameters at
checkout points of a system by means of a measuring device mounted on a control
panel capable of comparing them against permissible values. The new technique is
distinct in that the contacts of the control panel are connected by wires fitted
with needles with the connector wires of system units previously dismounted from
the vehicle that correspond to the checkout points of the system. Thus, taking
measurements of any electrical parameters is carried out directly during the
operation of a special system in any of its modes.
