Cold gas sources

Designed

    For producing inert gas to create excessive pressure in fire extinguishers and to eject fire extinguishing agents out of them, to unfold and inflate rescue means, to start up pneumatic drives, air lifts, to suppress fire centers in boxes with expensive equipment.
    Unlike gas generating elements manufactured by other companies, cold gas sources (CGS) generate fire- and explosion - proof gas - air mixture of the temperature that's not more than 80 oC. Thereby caking of fire extinguishing powder in fire extinguishers and block of main tubes by which the powder is supplied from a fire extinguisher into a fire center are ruled out when using CGS. The ejection of fire extinguishing powder out of fire extinguisher is in accordance with NPB 155-96 requirements.
    Unlike traditionally used HPB (high pressure blocks) excessive pressure in CGS case is absent when storing and operating before the moment of its start-up that's why operational checking works are not required to check its serviceability. It's always ready to be used.
