FIELD: hydraulic metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves autoclaving charcoals
with the use of alkaline solutions at temperature exceeding 140 C, with
activated charcoals being preliminarily treated with cyanic solutions having
cyanide ion concentration of at least 0.05%. Method is used in charcoal sorption
process of extracting precious metals from solutions and pulps.
EFFECT: increased rate and extent of silver
