1. The
suggested project of four-stroke internal-combustion engines line (3 variants)
with variable compression index essentially differs in design from production
engines by decrease in technological costs, labour inputs and financial
expenditure on units and components manufacturing, less number of components
demanding casting and close tracking.
The result is:
- internal loss by friction decrease up to 25-30%;
- engine effectiveness increase for 12-15%;
- higher high frequency of useful cylinders operation;
- high loads for slow revolutions by large torque
2. The
basic mechanism design change gave cause for change of work cyclicity in
cylinders, so total engines volume change. I.e. if the serial two-liter engine
has 4 cylinders, our model has only 2 cylinders at identical parameters such as
a piston stroke and diameter of the cylinder (fig. 1.).

1. Suggested engine line variants:
a - two-cylinder; b - three-cylinder; B - four-cylinder.
3.
The phase diagram (fig. 2.) shows that it is possible to vary "phase
- work cycle" depending on conditions of engine application. The design
proposes engine compression degree too.

The engine proposes a wide
application spectrum.
4.
Innovation condition: working out with the basic theoretical positions.
5. Cooperation forms:
a) Combined patenting or firm's (company's) expense;
b) Work departure to the firm for combined innovation implementation;
c) Currency financing reception for production and combined implementation of
suggested project;
d) Other.
