The prior art method employed for cleaning solid surfaces involves delivery
of a liquid under pressure through a cavitating nozzle. The new method is
distinctive by that the liquid physical and chemical properties are modified by
adding suspended or easily soluble high-molecular-weight polymers to the liquid.
The proposed method features several versions. One of them employs
high-molecular-weight linear polymer in the capacity of a modification agent. In
another one polyoxyethylene with molecular weight of 100000 – 10000000 and
concentration of 0.000001 – 0.0001 kg/kg is used as a high-molecular-weight
linear polymer. In the third version water is used as the liquid. The forth and
fifth versions involve different techniques for delivering the polymers.
