Production of an industry Electronics engineering A GALVANIC DECOUPLING DEVICE (UGR) AS A METER OF DC FEEDER LOADS
A GALVANIC DECOUPLING DEVICE (UGR) AS A
METER OF DC FEEDER LOADS
A galvanic decoupling device (UGR) is meant for the following:
1.
To measure and transmit to the ground potential (while producting a high level
analogue signal) a signal from a standart DC 75 mV shunt being under hight
potential.
2. To transmit any normalised analogue signals
from electric circuits under high potential, e.g. from 3,3 kV DC voltage
dividers, over to the ground potential.
The device is made to have a high
voltage insulator (executed from caprolon) through which the power at high
potential is supplied onto a converter of an input analogue signal (coming from
a divider or shunt) onto pulse frequency, and in the reverse direction a
frequency pulse signal goes through an infrared optic channel. The device also
has a frequency-to-voltage converter to extract the analogue signals. Another
infrared optic channel (also mounted in the insulatir) is used to test the UGR
operation.
