DETACHABLE HOSE TIP
FIELD:
different type of water- and gas-conduits, pipelines for other liquids, in
melioration for stationary sprinkling pipelines, sprinkling machines and
aggregates needing use of stopper, nozzle or sprayer in end of hose.
SUBSTANCE: flexible hose is fit onto flared end
portion of tip and it is fixed by means of threaded sleeve with radial opening.
Tip includes flared portion, for example in the form of barrel or cone whose
maximum diameter exceeds inner diameter of hose and narrowed end whose outer
diameter is less than inner diameter of hose. Inner diameter of sleeve exceeds
outer diameter of hose. In order to provide comfortable screwing-in of tip to
sleeve, tip may be provided with head for nut wrench or slot for screw driver or
it may be riffled along outer surface for screwing-in by hand. At joining tip
with hose tip is screwed-in to sleeve by one-two turns. At opposite side hose is
inserted to axial opening sleeve for drawing it with effort onto flared portion
of tip in such a way that deformed portions of hose may partially fill radial
openings of sleeve. At screwing-in tip performs translation motion inside sleeve
and forces protrusions of hoses to inner edges of radial openings of sleeve.
EFFECT: enhanced fluid-tightness degree of
tip-to-hose joint. 3 cl, 1 dwg
