CHECKING UP INTEGRITY OF
THREADED CONNECTION ON A GUARDED OBJECT (OPTIONS)
In the commonly used method, a unique optical image of the
identification element is formed, registered and stored to constitute a
comparison model for further identification of images registered by the
automatic monitoring device in the process of control (thus, the master’s
fingerprints can be photographed and then compared with a fingerprint, left on
the guarded object).
In the proposed method, the identification element is to be
placed between the units of the threaded connection so that it is not easily
accessible and can be randomly deformed by fixing the connection. Then this
unique deformation image is registered through an opening, provided in the core
of the threaded connection, that gives access for the monitoring ray. In other
words, a photograph of the deformed threading is obtained, which can not be
changed otherwise then by an attempt of unauthorized penetration into the
guarded object.
An option is proposed in the patent, of arranging the
monitoring hole directly in the inner body of the threaded connection.
