GRINDING WHEEL
DRESSING METHOD
He traditional method of grinding
wheel dressing includes displacement of the dressing tool along the moving line
of the grinding wheel and imparting oscillations to it normal to the wheel
operating surface at various frequencies. The novelty of the proposal is that
the frequency and the amplitude of dressing tool oscillation are changed at a
time such that the higher frequency should correspond to the lower amplitude,
and the lower frequency - to the higher amplitude. In so doing, the frequency of
oscillations is changed at a certain rate.
