ANISOTROPIC STEEL HOT ROLLING METHOD
Ordinary methods of electrical
anisotropic steel hot rolling on the continuous wide-strip rolling mill include
rolling of continuously cast slabs in the rolling mill roughing train; breakdown
bar cooling during its feed over the roller bed between the roughing and
finishing trains, hot deformation in the finishing train and air cooling of the
bar in the gaps between the mill stands; cooling of the hot rolled bars on the
collecting roller table. The invented technology differs in that in the last but
one gap between the stands the bar is cooled with water with the total water
flow set according to the dependence: Q = 12.15*(326 - tRG +
0.518t6 + 23.97h12), where Q is the total water
rate of flow for cooling, m3/h; h12 is the thickness of
the bar after the 12th (last) stand, mm; t6 is the temperature of the
breakdown bar at the inlet to the 6th stand of the finishing train, oC;
tRG is the rolling end temperature, oC.
