APPLICATION
Used for organic synthesis and as a flotoagent.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
Cyclohexanol is a combustible liquid with a smell of ether and camphor.
Melting point - 25.15°C; boiling point - 161.1°C; flash point - 67°C.
Cyclohexanol vapors create explosive mixtures with air. The rate of
explosiveity is 1.52%, - 11,1% according to volume.
Cyclohexanol is referred to moderately toxic substances. The tolerable
concentration of cyclohexanol in the air of the working zone of a production
building is 10 mg/m3, Cyclohexanol is classed the 3rd according to
the human health hazard chart.

PACKING TRANSPORTATION STORAGE

Cyclohexanol is transported in special rail-tanks with upper
discharge or a multipurpose discharge device, or in autotanks. The hatch cover of
the tank should be tightly closed and sealed.

Cyclohexanol should be stored in
special ware-houses for highly flammable liquids.

date.
