on the basis of method of LEVEL-BY-LEVEL SPLITTING And FILLING by SHADES
You, probably, more than once had desire
black-and-white photos of the family album to see in colour? But how to
transform the black-and-white image in color?
Theoretically - this process is impossible, as
from 256 grey shades it is impossible to receive 256 color. It is similar to
that the mathematical problem from 1 equation will be delivered to receive 10.
However, if to apply to a condition knowledge of the additional information
concerning colour shades for those or other fragments of a photo (colour of the
person, hand, trees, green grass and other), will appear to possible variant the
similarity of interpolation nobody which can be carried out with colours,
manipulating shades of the black-and-white image.
At present studio GRAY-COLOR
organized semi-automatic technology of such process. Due to it became to
possible exercise of work on transformation of the black-and-white photographic
images to color photos with small loss of the sanction. For example, the photo
with the sanction 400 dpi can be transformed with preservation of quality of the
image, but at the sanction 300 dpi. With photos of the high sanction (more than
600 dpi) we yet do not work (the program opportunities) allow.
The given technology represents semi-automatic
work. The manual part of work consists in a human choice from a necessary colour
shade, offered the automatic device, for this or that layer, into which all
range of a photo is automatically broken. The procedure of auto splitting of
one-ton grey shades and their subsequent colour filling is our know-how, which
is not subject to disclosing.
Now technology is organized and works on the
available graphic editors.
The algorithm is developed, on the basis which
can be created the program wholly working on the given procedure.
