A method of production of a one-mode light conducting channel in a transparent dielectric trough dielectric structure modification

The methods applied today are based on a radiation of a certain area of dielectric with a femto-second laser. According to the method proposed, a femto-second radiation focused on the selected area of dielectric by an axion is used to produce one light conducting channel. The energy of a pulse should assure that radiation intensity I₀ along the axion’s axis (along its focus) exceeds the threshold ionization intensity I_th of the dielectric being treated.

The second part of the formula proposed devoted to the technology to produce several conducting channels in one dielectric sample.
