COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF APPLICATION THEREOF
FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: described is improved ecologically
acceptable de-icing composition which comprises by-products of corn wet grinding
process, said by-products being decomposed biologically. Said composition is
applied so as to promote reduced formation of snow and ice on roads, bridges
landing and take-off strips taxiing runways and other external surfaces.
Composition comprises 14-80 wt % of substances dissolved in impregnating water
resulting from corn wet grinding process and 20-86 wt % of water. Described is
method of inhibiting accumulation of snow and ice using said composition.
Described are antifreeze composition against icing, composition for inhibiting
corroding effect of salt chlorides having the same composition as that of
composition against icing.
EFFECT: improved properties of the composition.
