A
method to manufacture metal forms
This new method is applied for
researching the process of interaction of a metal outer layer with a liquid
metal, primarily a solder, upon heating. Solid solder is inserted into a special
cavity made in a form. The essence of the invention is that the form is
manufactured as a reservoir with a hole. When the reservoir mentioned was filled
with solder, then reservoir is placed to a vacuumed chamber of an electron-ray
installation (ERI) and the hole is tightly plugged. Later on the form
manufactured in such a manner is removed from the ERI chamber. There are 5 more
claims in the Patent detailing its application for different steels, solders and
their fractions (e.g., shaving-like fractions), cavity shape, vacuum value and
methods of a hole sealing.
