method and device for measuring the temperature of a melt
The idea of the new method is to
measure heat radiation energy releasing from the surface of a melt. Unlike
methods already available on the market, in the new method the surface of a melt
is prepared in the form of cavity (the “absolutely black body”) through an
immersion of a fire-resistant substance used to transfer heat radiation to a
meter into the melt. There are 4 additional claims in the Patent to describe the
meter for the method proposed; the difference in the design was brought about by
application of different light guides and a synthetic rubin (as a fire-resistant
substance).
