COATING ON METAL AND METHOD OF FORMING THEREOF

FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: described is coating on metal made of priming layer and finishing coat, each comprising polytetrafluoroethylene, surfactants, inorganic pigment and water and finishing coat comprising also glycerol. Priming layer further comprises modifier, e.g. silicic acid sol. Surfactants are water-soluble nonionic or ionic compounds such as hydroxyethylated alkyl phenols. Inorganic pigment in priming layer includes solid insoluble substances such as TiO2, Fe2O3, and black, and finishing coat comprises, in addition to above substances, chromium oxides and mica or water-soluble salt of said metals, or titanium oxide coated mica, e.g. nacreous pigment, ratios of components being as follows, wt %; in priming layer: polytetrafluoroethylene, 45.0-65.0; surfactants, 5.0-13.5; inorganic pigment, 2.0-5.0; modifier such as silicic acid sol, 9.0- 13.0; in finishing coat: polytetrafluoroethylene, 45.0-65.0; surfactants, 6.5-15.5; inorganic pigment, 2.0-8.0; glycerol, 3.0-8.0; and water, the balance.

EFFECT: improved service characteristics of compositions for coating having better consumer properties of said compositions and shorter duration and lower power intensiveness for forming thereof. 4 cl, 1 tbl
