Usually they take samples from
the fuel tank of a vehicle to determine the quantity of water and mechanical
impurities, checking the fuel correspondence to the standard requirements. The
new method allows to simultaneously state the fuel density and color using a
specially designed portable instrument. The patent contains the specification
statement of the device and describes the checking procedure.
