The matter concerns fire-arms, in
which the movement of a bullet in the barrel channel is caused not only by the
impact of the charge, but also by ultrasonic oscillations of the barrel walls
excited directly before firing the shot. These oscillations are caused by an
ultrasound source made on the basis of a magnetostrictive transducer connected
with the barrel through an acoustic concentrator.
