- Portable artificial respiration device PARD – technical documentotion on
making or a license on production and realization the device or patent. PARD -
is a simple reanimation device for compulsory artificial respiration of lungs,
providing forced inhalation and forsed or spontaneous expiration realized at the
expense of any unskilled rescuer’s breathing. It may be used in extreme
situations for rendering first aid to people being in terminal states (“medicine
of catastrophe”).
It patented in Russia and Ukraine. It was used in
the Soviet NAVY.
The analogues are not present.
Areas of use -
- In machines of first aid, in ambulances and
reanimation centres, for supporting and restoration of breathing, removal of
harmful substances.
- Immediate taking down bronchial asthma attack
and another stoppage of breath.
- Saving gas-poisoned and drowned people (breathing
and exhaustion of water, noxious gas and toxic and others emulsions).
- In saving groups, (rescue parties), in army,
on fleet, in mines, fleet, transport, at the chemical enterprises for
restoration and maintenance of breath at everyday accidents.
- On beaches.

Advantages -
- QUICK setting in motion (maximum 10
сек.) and ease usage by any unskilled rescuer.
- PORTABLE (maximal weight -- 6 kg.), NEEDN’T
ANY power source, gas mixture or filtration.
- Half-automatic work regime of the device at
the expense of rescuer’s breathing.
The hands of the rescuer are completely free.
- With the help of the modernized device there
is an opportunity of use ANOTHER gas mixture for maintenance of breath saved.
- Rescuer’s inhalation air forthcomes into the
sufferer’s lungs. It’s enought in volume for breathing, filtered,
moistened, enriched CO2. (CO2 simulates the start of
self-dependent breathing
- The sufferer’s inhalation AIR and
ACCOMPANYING secretions ( mucus, poison gas, water, blood, et.) DO NOT
CONTACT with the rescuer, they are effectively exhausted.
- Possibility of long-term supporting of
sufferer’s breathing and maintaining vital functions for lack of
self-dependent breathing.
- Low value (-- $150), simple to make and use,
safetly, full absence of undesirable accesory effects in explotation.
