VACCINE
AGAINST PASTEURELLOSIS IN SWINE
Available as a grey-yellow liquid
with a concentrate of formalin-inactivated culture of Pasteurelas of
three serovariants and alumina hydrate added.
Indications
Immunizations of healthy swines.
Females are vaccinated 15 days before mating in non-endemic regions. In endemic
regions females are vaccinated despite a period of pregnancy. Pigs are
vaccinated when they are 30 days old.
Administration:
I/M with 2 ml (femur or neck)
twice, 14 days apart in pigs aged from 30 days to 6 months;
I/M with 5ml twice, 14 days apart
in pigs aged after 6 months.
Immunity is acquired 7-10 days after
the second administration and retained for 6 months.
