DEVICE FOR PRODUCING COMPRESSED AIR AND FEEDING RIVER WATER DUE TO WATER CURRENT ENERGY

FIELD: hydraulic engineering. 

SUBSTANCE: device has river-bank well or hole excavated through depth below river channel for filling it with water up to water level in river through gravity-flow line. 

Vertical suction pipe is installed in well or hole. 

Water lift is made in the form of air lift for which purpose open bottom end of suction pipe carries nozzle with sprayers. 

Power unit such as water wheel provided with compressor communicating through delivery line with plenum chamber is mounted in river stream. 

This nozzle communicates through three-way cock with plenum-chamber air delivery line. 

EFFECT: simplified design; provision for operation under air-compression and water- delivery conditions. 2 cl, 2 dwg
