An effective technology has been
developed for producing fish meal which provides good digestion and protein
assimilation. The effect is achieved due to the influence on fish proteins of a
definite complex of technological procedures aimed at increasing lability of
nitrogenous substances in fish meal.
The fish meal derived from this
technology is characterized by 95% digestibility of protein substances.
Biological tests on the quails
conducted at the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy showed a 36% increase in the
live weight of birds fed on this fish meal compared with those fed on the common
fish meat.
The tests performed at "Aquakorm"
on Russian sturgeon fry showed a decrease in feed expenditures by 37% and an
increase in survival rate of juveniles by 12%.
