Latest Inventions Pipelines A DEVICE FOR COATING PIPES INNER WALL
A
device for coating pipes inner wall
The known devices designed for the
application of polymeric coatings on pipes inner wall, in particular, on cooling
liquid-bearing pipes in condensers or exchangers, comprise a feeder intended for
the intake and delivery of a coating material, a coating unit for distribution
of the material incoming from the feeder inside, and control unit designed to
control the coating material supply and the process of internal wall coating.
In the newly developed device, a
coating unit has a guide sleeve with a tip putting on a coating pipe, and a
controlled movable hose with a spraying nozzle, installed in the guide sleeve;
the hose is inserted in the pipe through a cover plate of the guide sleeve. The
control unit is capable to regulate a flow of a coating material during the
suction and spraying as well as a working pressure in the device. The control
unit is also preprogrammed for preset inlet length and speed as well as for
working hose outlet speed.
Several modifications of the device
are described.
In the first modification of the
device, a working hose can be purposefully introduced inside a coated pipe over
all its length and deducted back through a guide sleeve.
In the second modification of the
device, a working hose is a high pressure hose with a nozzle for airless
spraying, which is intended for coating when the working hose is being withdrawn
from the pipe.
In the third modification of the
device, a guide sleeve ends in a hand-spraying gun on which a tip is installed.
The said spraying gun is connected with the guide sleeve through a flat hinge,
while a working hose passes through the spraying gun and the tip.
In the fourth modification of the
device, the design of a tip provides the centering of a working hose in the pipe;
to attach to the coated pipe, the tip is nearly oval-shaped.
In the fifth modification of the
device, a working hose in the spraying nozzle area is provided with a filter and
a return valve.
In the sixth modification of the
device, unlike pos. 3 and 4, a spraying gun is provided with hand controls.
In the seventh modification of the
device, material inlet pressure is set; the pressure is 5-500 bars (0.5-50 MPa),
preferably 10-250 bars (1-25 MPa).
In the eighth modification, the
device is provided with a feeder which includes a sucking hose with a primary
filter connected with a feed pump which operates dependent on the outlet
pressure.
In the ninth modification, the
device is equipped with a return valve and a double-filter set which are
installed in the area of material inlet in the coating unit.
In the tenth modification, the
device is provided with an engine-drive drum for reeling a working hose.
In the eleventh modification of the
device, the control unit is programmed for preset values of spray speeds and
material consumption.
In the twelfth and thirteenth
modification of the device, the device is mobile (12th); here, the control unit
is placed on one movable carriage, while coating unit - one the other. Both
carriages are connected with one another through a material hose (14th).
