Wrist
photo-camera
The
latest state-of-the-art electronic achievement, Casio’s monochromatic digital
photo-camera WRIST CAMERA WQV-1, is built in a wrist watch. This unparalleled
design allows to focus camera lens on different targets and use it for spying.
Definitely, as soon as this
camera was originally designed for more convenient handling, it has a small
dimension (44x52x16 mm) and weight (only 32 g).
The camera is equipped with a
small-sized (20x20 mm) LCD with a screen resolution of 120x120 picsels.
A picture taken is displayed on
the screen. The image is transported via infrared port of the PC. Pictures can
be recorded in two formats: JPEG and BMP.
A 1 Mb internal capacity memory
allows to accumulate up to 100 pictures simultaneously. Another advantage of the
design is that each picture can be accompanied with a short (up to 24 symbols)
comment which will later help find a wanted picture among a hundred of pictures.
The device is fed from a CR2032
standard battery. The battery power is expected to keep the camera in operation
within a half a year at least, if the camera is daily used no more than 1 minute
a day.
The main feature of the wrist
camera, allowing its producers to dominate on the market, is a type *of the
product, the “two-in-one” design. I.e., this device operates both as camera
and as ordinary electronic watch, showing time and date.
