FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE OF
GRAVITATIONAL EQUIVALENCE

Always when speaking about the
basis of the Universe, one recollects numerous publications containing
descriptions of search for the most elementary particles — building blocks
from which the whole world surrounding us has allegedly been built. However, the
main principles of construction of our world — the principles of the Universe
Structure somehow have remained beyond the fields of vision of researchers.
This book is devoted to the
search for such principles. It has appeared that the world has been built on the
basis of the “triunity of entities” realization known since the ancient
times, according to which all fundamental natural manifestations depend upon
each other so that they are necessarily united into separate groups with three
items in each group (a triad), and physicists express such fundamental
dependencies in the form of widely known three-link formulae: E = mc2
, F = ma, S = vt, etc. This is how the first principle of the
Universe Structure known as the Principle of Equivalences is realized in
Nature.
Unfortunately, the modern physics
has not yet enabled us to understand unambiguously that the World surrounding us
is the World of Processes. Giving the priority to a chance rather than to a
cause, it mainly interprets this World in the static state.
In the book, an attempt has been
made to depict a new pattern of the Universe Structure where it is the
Causality and the Process that are dominating. Based upon this attitude, there
exist Processes in Nature rather than Phenomena, and we apprehend these
Processes as phenomena being realized as a transition from one quality into
another, as a transformation of one category into another. And we perceive the
essence of these “Transitions” and “Transformations” in the form of a
great number of manifestations which we call Energy, Time, Force, etc.
One more principle has been
considered, the second principle of the Universe Structure that is
fundamental in the construction of a unified pattern of the Universe, according
to which some natural manifestations only appear at the expense of changes of
the other ones, for example, it is widely known that the acceleration is
manifested only at the expense of changes of the velocity, the electromagnetic
radiation — at the expense of changes of the charge, etc. Such an
interdependence has been called the Compensation Principle.
However, according to the first
principle of the Universe, such principles must be a part of their own triad;
therefore, a third principle of the Universe Structure should also exist
in Nature, but the reader will learn about it after he has read the book.
As a result, it turns out that
these three principles of the Universe Structure are those three whales
by which “the world is supported” — the whole world exists and develops
only at the expense of their simultaneous realization!
1. HISTORICAL CAUSES OF CRISIS IN PHYSICS
The historical causes have been
given, which have led to the appearance of crisis in physics.
At all extent of science history
(for more than 2000 years), naturalists were always interested in the problem of
mass structure, but this problem was formulated only for one of its form — for
substance. And it was formulated by the ancient Greek scientist Democritus
(460...370 B. C.) who, for the first time, proposed an atomistic doctrine on
discrete structure of substance, which actually has become a fundamental
principle for the subsequent development of physics, chemistry, biology, etc.
However, the ideas of the
second mass form — of field — have somewhat retarded in their development,
though even Aristotle who lived at the same epoch (384...322 Â.
C.) mentioned the ether as the most universal structure of Matter. And
only Maxwell theory created in 1865 and confirmed in 1888 by the Herz tests on
generating and detecting the electromagnetic waves has become the basis of
practical investigations in the study of field properties and structure.
A tremendous temporal difference
in 22 centuries between the beginnings of the study of the two interrelated mass
forms has formed considerably different levels of knowledge about them, which
has led to a psychological warp in their perception. For this period of time, we
have learned infinitely much about substance and infinitely little about field.
This has become a basis for the rise of a crisis in classical physics, which in
1905 inevitably caused the appearance of the theory of relativity and the
formation, on its base, of an unusual relativistic outlook capable, as it seemed
at the moment, to lead physics out of crisis.
But, unfortunately, as has
already been noted, the present-day physics including the relativistic one has
not made us understand clearly that the world surrounding us is the world of
Processes. Giving the priority to the chance rather than the cause, it mainly
interprets this world in the static condition.
Intuitively, the forefathers of
relativism (Lorentz, Poincare, Einstein and others) mainly stood in the correct
(procedural) original position.
However, neither they, nor their
successors have not still understood that the true essence of relativism can be
clarified by solving three main problems:
Theoretical combination of both
mass forms into a single structural System.
The consideration of the Dynamics
of the happening (in the present and not in the past time) process of any
interaction obligatorily within the framework of the response of the combined
SUBSTANCE↔FIELD system.
The construction of the general
theory of interaction of the SUBSTANCE↔FIELD system on the basis of the
dynamics of Galilean relativity.
In other words, such a theory
should be able not only primitively evaluate the consequences of the passed
action of the Motion upon a trial body, but also disclose certain causes leading
to such consequences. And it means that any theory can be considered as
“correct” (formed) only when it acquires the capability not only to describe
but also explain and predict the results of any interaction process.
However, this has not been the
case with the current theory of relativity. Therefore, in spite of 90 years of
efforts, relativism torn away from the consideration of the SUBSTANCE↔FIELD
interaction process has not yet been able to satisfy the needs of physics.
Moreover, the absence of any
harmonious scientific search method which is substituted by the total
mathematisation of any physical problem, i. e. the substitution of physics by
mathematics, causes a new higher wave of crisis of this science.
If one evaluates the developed
situation, then an impression is being created that the impossibility of finding
a way out of the protracted crisis by means of present-day theories is connected
with the preservation in our consciousness of the above mentioned psychological
warp hampering to combine both mass forms into the single one and the absence of
the scientific search method. We need a certain simple combining idea which is
able to get the problem of the complex cognition of the surrounding world “off
the standstill”.
It is not ruled out that such a
combining idea can be the idea of the existence, in Nature, of the Third
fundamental principle of gravitational equivalence (3rd FPGE) published in the
collection of reports of the IV International Conference “Problems of Space,
Time, Gravitation” as well as the new unusual method of scientific search.
The new principle of equivalence
is based on the interrelation, discovered by the author experimentally, between
the elasticity in substance and gravitation outside substance, i. e. it assumes
a dependence of the intensity of the internal gravitation field not only upon
the magnitude of mass of the given body but also upon its stressed-deformed
state. Such a state is always realised with any material object at its
interaction with other objects, but which manifests itself only in the process
of Motion.
Therefore, the declared
interdependence can be considered universal and should refer to any Process.
Let us consider how the proposed
procedural approach can help one to move forward in understanding of such
manifestations of the surrounding world, known long ago but still
incomprehensible, as energy, mass, gravitation, relativity, etc.
Lets us use a new scientific
search method for this purpose.
2. NEW SCIENTIFIC SEARCH METHOD
A new scientific search method has
been proposed, according to which one detects unknown (new for us) laws of
Nature by means of the analysis and synthesis of known laws. Such a method has
been called the “method of equivalences”. An example of the use of such a
method has been given, in which it is shown that the analysis of the known
Newton's second law enables to detect a new fundamental equivalence between
gravitation and elasticity, which has been called “Third fundamental principle
of gravitational equivalence”.
For some of us, Nature seems to
be a gathering of unsolved riddles, for others disposed to analysis — an
inexhaustible field of activity, a source of unusual information which always
surprises people, not all of them being the average ones.
But why do scientific discoveries
happen by chance? Why is there no search method for laws of Nature yet? Well, it
is because we are not aware of those basics, of that foundation on which Nature
builds its laws.
But what are these basics?
Perhaps it is the complex of 4 forces known from numerous “single field
theories” or something else?
However, at the thorough
consideration of cause-effect interrelations a very curious situation manifests
itself in any Process. In the first place, change of any physical parameter is
sure to lead to the appearance of another physical parameter. So changes in
speed give birth to acceleration, changes in intensity of electric field
generate electromagnetic field, etc. And changes of the alteration, which has
already taken place (as if it were a derivative of the passed changing process),
in turn, again give birth to a new physical parameter, i. e. they lead to the
next higher stage of manifestation and so on.
This is necessitated by the
structure of interconnections between natural phenomena. It is so that an
invisible chain of evolution of any natural system arises, which gives rise to
the infinite variety of natural phenomena visible to us. Nature as if
compensates the change of one parameter by the appearance of another one, and
the change of this one — by the appearance of a new one. This peculiarity of
behaviour of interrelated real processes has been called the compensation
principle which is, in essence, a more general manifestation of known
conservation laws. We usually use these laws at the analysis of elementary
processes, i. e. in the links of the whole evolution chain of the system being
studied. In each such link, an equality of action and counteraction is established with their
subordination to any of the conservation laws. However, such an equality gives
evidence of the equivalence of these characteristics, though each of them, by
its character, differs from the other.
The compensation principle
manifests itself, first of all, in the well-recognised Newton's third law (action
equals counteraction). The experience of present-day development of science has
proved the universal character of this law irrespective of what kind of
phenomena we deal with. Therefore, one can say that the compensation principle
is a universal principle determining the development of processes in Nature. Any
description of processes by means of mathematical equations in physics is the
use of this principle for the analysis of phenomena and their interrelations.
In reality, we always have a
certain change of a physical parameter, which is accompanied, due to the
compensation principle, by the appearance of another physical characteristic
connected with the first one in the equation by means of a certain dimensional
proportionality coefficient which characterises the realisation of cause-effect
relations between these parameters. However, since Nature has been built as a
result of continuous interaction at the realisation of the compensation
principle, any phenomena that we observe in Nature are the result of the
continuous evolution, development and changes, i. e. of the continuous universal
Motion.
So it turns out that the
Compensation Principle being considered here and its continuous realisation are
the first of the target Basics of Nature existence.
But what number of such basics
does that Foundation, upon which Nature bases its laws, consist of?
In scientific publications, the
term “equivalence” is often used; in most cases it is interpreted as equal
value, equality in magnitude, etc. However, the notion of the “principle of
equivalence” has not got a wide spread in scientific literature. Moreover,
some scientists generally try to avoid it, not suspecting that it can contain a
deep cognitive meaning.
The first principle of
equivalence was stated by Newton who, using Galileo's observations of free fall
of bodies and swing of pendulum, had guessed (postulated) that there is an
equality between the inertial and the gravitational masses. It is this fact that
has enabled Newton to formulate the basics of classical mechanics. As a result,
such a principle has appeared to be a foundation, on which one has managed to
build the whole classical physics.
So no sooner had the first
principle of equivalence been formulated than it immediately became a foundation
of the whole classical physics. In his famous work “Mathematical principles of
natural philosophy”, Newton underlines the special value of the formulated
principle of equivalence and draws our attention to the importance of the
question whether the ratio of the masses being considered is constant and equal
to unity.
The general theory of relativity
is based upon the postulate that this ratio is always the same. Having called
the First fundamental principle of gravitational equivalence (1st FPGE)
“Weak principle of equivalence”, Einstein formulated on its base, using the
Poincare ideas, another principle of equivalence — the equivalence between
gravitational field and the so called “acceleration field” that is usually
illustrated by the impossibility of an experimentor in the moving cage of a lift
to determine whether he is influenced by the gravitational field or by the
“acceleration field”.
The second fundamental principle
of gravitational equivalence (2nd FPGE) has been called by Einstein
“Strong principle of equivalence”. And this principle has become another
foundation, upon which one has managed to build the whole present-day
relativist physics.
All this shows how great the
value of any principle of equivalence can be in the cognition of Nature, and,
therefore, one should pay the most thorough attention to the establishment of
new equivalences. It is the search of a new equivalence and its analysis that
this chapter is devoted to.
It is necessary to underline that,
in the first place, many philosophical categories are always considered in pairs,
and, in the second place, their functional interconnection (for example, the
transfer of quantity into quality) can unambiguously be considered as a natural
realisation of the compensation principle, as a reflection of specifics of the
logical thinking which was born with the man as a result of the natural
evolution process.
It is known that the dialectic
laws act inevitably in Nature. One of them is the law of unity and fight of
contrasts, which is expressed in the fact that Nature is liable to dualism,
ambivalence, i. e. the availability in it of though related but antagonistic
phenomena. For example, motion and rest (but a relative rest can be a joint
motion), force and acceleration, acceleration and inertia, etc. and last, the
whole world is divided into female and male halves.
Perhaps it is difficult, and
maybe impossible, to find an example, in which a phenomenon would not have a
similar pair.
But it seems likely that each
pair of this kind must obligatorily have one more related manifestation —
another equivalence which connects them with each other.
On this basis, it is assumed that
the analysis of one known phenomenon can lead to the cognition of another
unknown phenomenon which is certain to accompany it, as all phenomena of Nature
are interrelated and do not manifest themselves in the “pure form” being
isolated from each other. It seems that the dialectic law of the unity and the
fight of contrasts is a philosophical expression of the generalised physical
Principle of Equivalence. Such an approach enables to use widely both
philosophical and physical generalisation methods, which can lead not only to
the derivation of new information about the known Nature phenomena but also to
the detection of new unknown ones. And we will show it in our further
discussions on one specific example.
Let us pay attention to the fact
that the fundamental physical laws known to us are always expressed by
interrelated equivalences and represented by the simplest relationships and, as
a rule, by three parameters, for example, F = Ma, E = Mc2, S =vt, i.
e. by the three-link formula, in which the mathematical operations of
multiplication: F = Ma, or division: M = F/a are used.
At the implementation of any
fundamental physical law described by the three-link formula of the type a =
be, for example, the second Newton's law F = Ma, we always really see
a certain change of one physical parameter (F), which is accompanied, due to the
compensation principle, by appearance of another physical characteristic (a),
connected with the first one in the equation by a certain constant
dimensional proportionality coefficient (M). However, all three parameters in
such an equation are so interrelated that change of one of them cannot occur
without changes of the other two.
All this suggests an idea of the
possibility to establish the symbolic representation of such a general
interconnection of the process parameters in the form of a “logical triangle”
whose three sides conditionally embody the values of three interrelated
parameters. The process of construction of such a logical triangle and studying
it enable to carry out the simplest analysis of such a complex and even reveal
its new unknown features, i. e. a new scientific search method is proposed.
Similar schematic representations
of interrelations between separate natural manifestations were also used before
— let us remember the Feinman's logical diagrams, the structural chains of
organic chemistry, etc. In this case, it is proposed to reduce the description
of certain natural phenomena, first of all, the physical ones, to the schematic
establishment of their connections (equivalences) with other related phenomena.
When considering the principle of
equivalence, this point of view assumes the availability of continuous chain of
interconnections between different elementary acts of Nature. It is such an
interconnection that can be represented schematically in the form of spatial
grid, each cell of which maps the sum of three elementary interrelations (equivalences)
between separate Nature manifestations. The most elementary cell of the grid is
a triangle.
It is such a cell that, for the
first time, was used by the author as a basis for the construction of the
elementary equivalence methods.
Let us show how one can use such
methods. As an example, we shall represent the logical triangle for the second
Newton's law (see Figure 1).
We know that the interrelation of
process parameters in the elementary act (of the type F = Ma) is
determined by the compensation principle. It means that F exists only so
far as there exists a response, a reaction in the form of the multiplication Ma,
for each element of which F is, at the same time, the common measure
of equivalence. Though both F and Ma are of different nature,
their joint changes, due to the compensation principle, give rise to new
phenomena; the equivalences between them can be represented by new “logical
triangles”.

Thus, the force F is
equivalent to elastic stresses, the mass M is equivalent to motion and
gravitation, and the acceleration a is equivalent to gravitation and
something that we have not revealed yet. All this taken together can be reduced
to the system of 4 logical triangles (Figure 2).

Therefore, the collective bonds (equivalences)
can be seen in such a system; they are represented by a grid of logical
triangles; in addition, an unknown equivalence denoted by the question mark, has
appeared in the lower triangle of this system.
The answer to this question is
derived automatically at the reduction (convolution) of the plane system of
logical triangles into a volumetric figure “tetrahedron” shown in Figure 3.

At such a “convolution” of
the plane system of logical triangles, the side of the upper right triangle
denoting elastic stresses closes up with the side of the lower triangle denoted
by the question mark.
It turns out that we have
detected, by means of a simplest method, the equivalence between gravitation
outside the body and elastic stresses inside it. It seems that without using any
mathematics we have found a new regularity in Nature that was unknown before.
Let us call the system of logical
triangles (Figure 2) and their integrated interrelation the “system of
equivalences”, and the method of their construction and analysis — the “Method
of Equivalences”.
The logical triangle schemes
being considered enable to assume that one and the same natural phenomenon, in
the simplest form, should be explained from not less than three different
positions. And though each separate explanation will be correct, it will be far
from complete. That is probably why we are never satisfied by only one separate
explanation of any phenomenon. A sufficient completeness should manifest itself
only at the simultaneous consideration of not less than three related factors,
i.e. in any case, a peculiar triad of equivalences should be considered.
The real result obtained here
prompts us that the whole procedural world is built on the basis of realisation
of the tri-unity of phenomena and essences. Namely, besides the mathematical
language, a simpler conventionally logical language appears. Using the logical
triangle schemes of such a language as well as the dialectics provision that
there are no isolated Nature phenomena, one can approach the detection and the
elementary description of many unknown physical laws on the basis of analysis
and synthesis of the known laws.
We can already say that we have a
sufficiently complicated pattern of interrelation of many (if not all) phenomena,
though their basis is the only common simplest mechanism for all natural
processes — the change of position of any system element. The element type and
the character of the position change (longitudinal displacement or rotation)
will lead to different classes of processes and phenomena. And one can imagine
all this on the aggregate as a certain “tree of knowledge evolution” whose
branches grow as the new pieces of information appear.
It is quite probable that there
exists a clear hierarchy among the fundamental Laws of Nature, and this suggests
one an idea about a possible general universality of both the compensation
principle and the principle of equivalence. And if the universality of the
principle of equivalence is confirmed using the logical triangles, then the
creation of a complicated system of triangular schemes will enable to carry out
an attempt to build a rational systematics of the Laws of Nature by means of
development of the above-mentioned Tree of Evolution consisting of the
complicated system of logical triangles, tetrahedrons, etc.
The systematics itself can occur
on the basis of simple selection of the built tetrahedrons which will form a
spatial grid of more complicated figures closing up by single-meaning sides. And
it will be so up to infinity, gradually filling the “logical space”, because
the variety of natural phenomena is infinite and the equivalent bonds between
them are infinite too. Each new step in this hierarchy of equivalences can
characterise the appearance of laws of Nature that had not been known before,
though each new step can be constructed out of the laws and phenomena known long
ago.
Using our methods we have learned
that the well-known Elastic Stresses and Strains which arise inside any material
bodies and which always manifest themselves at any power interaction, including
the gravitational interaction, are an equivalent (a “relative”) of the
Gravitation itself.
If one takes it as a
postulate, then it is possible to build a new hypothesis based upon the assumed
interrelation (equivalence) of inter-n al elastic stresses and the î
u t s i d e gravitational field of the same body. When constructing such a
hypothesis, we should clearly understand that gravitation always leads to
elastic strains and, therefore, to elastic stresses in the body, and, in turn,
the elastic stresses arising in the body are certain to lead to the appearance
of an additional gravitational field near it. In other words, we have closely
come to the possibility of solving the gravitation mechanics problem that was
formulated by Newton but has not been solved as yet.
Moreover, there are grounds to
assume that the equivalence that has been found is a new fundamental feature of
Nature. Therefore, in order to underline a special importance of this fact, one
can consider such an equivalence as the Third Fundamental Principle of
Gravitational Equivalence (3rd FPGE).
In order to understand what it is,
let us analyse the distribution of the internal gravitational field around
bodies that are acted upon by the Earth's gravitational field (Figure 4) at
different distances from its centre. We shall see that the higher the elastic
stresses in the Earth's thickness, theless intensity the internal gravitational
field has in this region. It turns out that the interrelation between them is
inversely proportional, and this can mean that the outside internal
gravitational field always has the maximal intensity near that part of the trial
body where the internal elastic stresses are minimal.

Moreover, as the acceleration of
a material body is sure to be connected with its elastic deformation, one can
assume that at these moments an increase of its own gravitational field occurs (see
Chapter 3). Then the centrifugal accelerations of a revolving body (or system of
bodies) should lead to the constant gravitational radiation.
Such is the mechanism of
realisation of the proposed Third principle of gravitational equivalence. In the
subsequent chapters we will show how it occurs in Nature.
Let us remind that the First
fundamental gravitational principle discovered by Newton was called Weak, and
the Second one declared by Einstein— Strong. The equivalence, which has
been found, also needs to have an exhaustive name. The new principle of
gravitational equivalence that has been found is an extremely important feature
of Nature, and it is realised literally in all its real power
manifestations. Therefore it will be quite justifiable to call the Third
principle of equivalence Real.
So using the proposed methods of
equivalences as well as the dialectics provision that no isolated Nature
phenomena exist, one can approach the detection and the description of many
unknown physical laws on the basis of analysis and synthesis of the known laws
— we have demonstrated it using the example of the analysis of the Newton's
second law.
The equivalence between
gravitation and elasticity that had been found is not somewhat unique in Nature
and only for physics, and one should look for similar equivalences in other
fields of knowledge too — chemistry, biology, sociology, etc.
In addition, it is necessary to
underline once again that the principle of equivalence itself is realised in
Nature on the basis of existence of equivalences that seem to be separate but
are always interconnected and which, in turn, exist (manifest themselves) on the
basis of realisation of the compensation principle, i. e. these two principles
are realised jointly, and so they comprise a single system — a certain
foundation, on which Nature exists.
But such a system, as we already
know, should consist of three parts. Therefore, besides the compensation
principle and the principle of equivalence, one more principle should exist. The
procedural approach to the consideration of the scientific search problem will
surely be such a principle. In other words, the logical triangle explaining the
structure of the above mentioned Nature foundation should include the
COMPENSATION, the EQUIVALENCE and the PROCESS, with the Process being reflected
in the Galilean relativity.
As a result, it turns out that
these three principles: the Compensation Principle, the Principle of Equivalence
and the Principle of Relativity are those three whales, on which the “world
stands”, i. e. the whole World exists and develops only on the basis of their
simultaneous realisation!
Based upon the above, one can
assume that the exhaustive physical definition of any natural manifestation can
be given only in the case when a procedural approach to the problem in question
is known (is accessible). And one cannot exclude that it is such an attitude
that will enable to give quite a suitable definition to such physical categories,
which have not been defined as yet, as energy, time, mass, motion, gravitation,
etc.
Let us see how the proposed
procedural approach enables to solve the problems formulated.
3. ENERGY
It is shown that with the increase
of the trial body velocity, an increase of the mass of its own gravitational
field and a decrease of the mass of material occur, but provided that their sum
always remains constant. It enables to define energy as a “process of
substance transformation into field”, to get a very simple explanation of the
relativistic mass increase and at last to decipher the formula E = Mc2
, which everybody knows but no one understands.
In spite of the fact that the
word “energy” first appeared as far back as 1620 in Kepler's works, no
exhaustive definition to this term has been given since.
In present-day physics, the term
“energy” is understood only from a pure philosophical position as a
“measure of momentum”, but it is clearly insufficient, as such a definition
does not reflect its physical meaning.
Usually we perceive energy as
something material, and we regard this word as a noun, though the notion
“energy” is first of all based upon an action, a process, therefore, we
should perceive this term as a verb or at least as a verbal noun. Let us see how
one can understand the physical essence of energy from this procedural point of
view.
So it is known that any material
body consists of substance and is surrounded by its own gravitational field
capable to interact with the same substance of another body. In addition, it is
known that field, the same as substance, also has mass, i.e. one and the same
quantitative measure of assessment.
Therefore, the inertial body mass
M0 can be considered to consist of two parts — the mass of
substance Ms and the mass of its field Mf
.

Though it is believed that the mass of
gravitational field is infinitesimal, we unambiguously perceive the magnitude of
the internal gravitational field of any real body as the measure of gravity
according to the known Newton's law of gravitation, which tells us that the
gravitational field of any body of any size, however small, is quite real and
cannot help being considered.
It is known that to evaluate the momentum of one
and the same revolving body, the following formulas can be used:

The famous formula (2) first
proposed by Heavyside, 15 years earlier than Einstein, is considered universal;
it is known even to non-physicists but somehow very few people understand what
physical meaning it contains.
The formula (3), on the contrary,
is very transparent, it expresses the kinetic energy of a revolving body and is
called “mutual” by physicists.
The formula (2) expresses the
maximal value of energy, which the hypothetical material object of the mass M
capable to move at the speed proportional to the speed of light can have.
Some authors suppose that vacuum
is such an object. But most probably such an object is the internal
gravitational field of the mass Mf belonging to the
body in question.
Then the formula (2) can be

Let us try and make the
understanding of this hypothetical mass in formula (2) more definite. In order
to do that, let us use the technique, which enabled Laplace, as far back as two
centuries ago (in 1796) much in advance of the conclusions of the future theory
of relativity, to predict the existence of “black holes” as well as to
calculate the gravitational radius of the Sun and of all planets then known.
According to Laplace, we just
equate these energies (E1 and E2),
having in mind that both the formula (3) and the formula (4) express one and
the same energy — the energy of a revolving motion of a body. In other words,
the kinetic energy of one and the same body of the mass M0
can be expressed either by the magnitude of its field Mf
(in formula 4), or by the magnitude of its velocity V (in
formula 3).
If, as we have agreed, E1
= E2, then the right-hand sides of the formulas (3) and (4)

Thus the formulas (6) and (7)
enable to distinguish the inertial mass into the mass of substance and the mass
of field as well as to evaluate their magnitudes depending upon the velocity of
the body.
The analysis of the formulas (1),
(6) and (7) enables to come to the following extremely important conclusions:
1.
With the increase of the body velocity (in the course of acceleration, under
which its elastic deformation surely occurs), an increase of the mass of field
and a decrease of the mass of substance take place.
2.
Based upon this, one can give the following definition of energy of the body in
question:
ENERGY is a process of
transformation of substance into field.
But any rectilinear motion can
also be represented as the rotation with a very large radius, therefore, the
definition obtained is quite suitable for the generalised understanding of
kinetic energy.

At any velocity of motion, the inertial mass M0 that is
always a constant sum of two mutually transformed masses Ms and
Mf will always remain constant i. å.:

According to formula (4), the energy carrier is the internal gravitational field
of the body. Therefore, the formula (4) E = MfC2
being considered indicates the dependence of the amount of energy of the
body
upon the amount of the substance converted into field. However, according to
this formula, such an amount of field always does not depend upon the
characteristics of the process itself, as any process taking place in Nature, in
its origin, is one and the same — conversion of SUBSTANCE into FIELD, but we
see only its different sides. Therefore, there exist various kinds of energy for
us (electrical, thermal, chemical, etc.) that are evaluated by different
formulas. However, all these kinds of energy can be evaluated by one and the
same universal formula E = MfC2, which
can at last be deciphered. In order to do it and to underline the process
dynamics, such a formula can be written as follows:

In other words, the energy of the
body having the constant inertial mass M0 can grow at the expense of
decrease of its mass of substance Ms, in the
process of its conversion into field.
As a result, the possibility of
showing the mechanism of the body energy alteration process with the changes of
its velocity has been revealed in the formula (9), and the constant speed of
light squared being behind the bracket plays only the role of the
proportionality factor indicating the limitation of the amount of energy per
inertial mass unit.
So the known formula (2) E
= MC2 in such understanding (9) characterises the
dependence of the amount of body energy upon the amount of substance being
converted into field, with the mass in formula (2) being the mass of field.
5.
As it is assumed that the reserve of the kinetic energy of bodies is contained
in their changing internal gravitational field, the inertial properties of
bodies connected with the changes of this energy manifest themselves at the
expense of changes of their internal gravitational fields. Probably this is the
equivalence between the inertia and the gravitation of the body proposed by
Einstein (strong equivalence).

The increase of mass connected with the velocity increase, which is known and
has been detected experimentally, can be explained just by the increase of
gravitational interaction at the expense of the mass of field, by means of which
the body performs this interaction but not by the increase of the amount of
substance.
Consequently, such a variable
mass is the gravitational mass.
However, the gravitational mass
is fictitious, as it fully depends upon the velocity v and expresses only the
variable gravitational interaction force, i. e. a qualitative measure of
evaluation of the real mass M0, but not a measure of the amount of
substance.
Therefore, the inertial mass M0
only can be considered as a quantitative measure of evaluation of the real mass.

All this gives evidence of a real possibility of violation of the weak (Newtonian)
equivalence, i.e. a practical possibility of detection of inequality between the
inertial mass and the gravitational mass, as the violation of such an
equivalence with a considerable growth of the relative velocity is assumed: the
inertial mass is constant, the gravitational mass is variable. This follows from
formulas (1), (6) and (7). They prompt us that the gravitational mass increase
detected experimentally is an indisputable fact of a weak equivalence violation.

As it was mentioned before, the field magnitude Mf determines
the gravitational interaction which is calculated according to the formula of
the Newton's law of gravitation. Therefore, the interacting masses in this
formula are gravitational (qualitative) rather than inertial (quantitative),
Then it turns out that in order to evaluate the interaction of two moving bodies,
it is necessary to introduce a relativistic correction factor into the Newton's
law of gravitation, which takes account of the change of interaction arising as
a result of the change of the mutual displacement velocity. This correction
factor will show that at the motion of one of the interacting bodies, the force
of their gravitational interaction (attraction) grows proportional to the
relative motion velocity, which is equivalent to the increase of the mass being
measured.
Thus the statements given above
enable to establish the direct interconnection between energy, mass and
gravitation.
But, unfortunately, it follows
from our arguments that energy as a physical substance does not exist in Nature
— it is a fruit of our imagination, which we invented in order to ease the
evaluation of the above-mentioned substance conversion into field. Today no one
is looking for “phlogiston” — a thermal liquid — any longer. It is just
as senseless to seek an energy carrier in the form of some elementary particles,
out of which allegedly any energy consists.
According to the discussion given
in this chapter, any mass, including all its transformations built upon the
interaction between substance and field in the process of MECHANICAL MOTION, is
the energy carrier.
And now let us consider how the
given conversion of the SUBSTANCE—FIELD system is realised in Nature.
4. PHYSICAL DEFINITION OF TIME AND
THE SUN ENERGETICS
One can solve the riddle of Time
using the proposed method of equivalences as a basis — it is necessary just to
look for two essences accompanying time and, basing upon them and using the
procedural approach, look for answers to the questions being formulated.
In order to understand the
essence of Time and the process of single-directionality of its flowing, let us
use the method of equivalences discussed in the previous chapter which, as it
has been noted, enables to make the simplest analysis of practically any natural
phenomena. But in order to do this, we should go aside from the generally
accepted attitude and look at the space not from the point of view of its
non-understandable “-dimensionality but just from the point of view of its
structure and composition.
In this case we should notice the
presence, in such a space, of two physical substances — SUBSTANCE and FIELD
which are closely interrelated and are capable of mutual conversion. Such an
approach enables to introduce these interrelated substances into the generalised
notion of space which, according to the proposed method of equivalences, can be
depicted schematically in the form of a logical triangle (Figure 5, a).
According to our method, no
change of any of these interrelated substances in this closed triangular diagram
can occur without a change of the other two.
In such a conventional triangular
diagram, a certain closeness of Space can be seen, i. e. a certain amount of
Substance is always available in the world surrounding us, which can gradually
convert into Field with the dissipation of Energy. Because everything that is
available around us permanently radiates, and all this takes place within Time.
So the present-day development of
the surrounding world occurs according to the scheme: => Substance =>
Field => Time, therefore, our really visible space acquires a vector
character (Figure 5, b).

Consequently, these physical
substances (Substance, Field, Time) determining Space have a direction in their
development. And isn't the whole meaning of the single-direction of our time
contained in this direction? After all, we live in the energy system of the
single-direction conversion of substance into field.
In order to find an answer to
this question, let us use the Third principle of equivalence declared in the
previous chapter based upon the equivalence between elasticity and gravitation.
And based on the supposition stated there about the possibility of gravitational
radiation for revolving bodies, an experiment has been carried out with a
special device (Figure 6) consisting of a fly-wheel with massive spokes but
without the central bushing, instead of which a fixed gravimeter has been
installed.
When such a fly-wheel rotates,
clearly expressed non-uniform elastic compression stresses arise in its
cantilever spokes — maximum at the rotation periphery, minimum at its centre.
According to the supposition stated before, an additional internal gravitational
field should be generated around each of the revolving bars under the action of
powerful non-uniform elastic stresses caused by the centrifugal loads (Figure 6,
b), its distribution should repeat the same gravitational field arising
under the action of the Earth's gravitational field (compare with Figure 4 of
Chapter 2) — maximum at that part of the body where the elastic stresses are
minimal.

In
the process of the experiment, it has been revealed that when such a fly-wheel
is rotated, the fixed gravimeter installed in the centre of rotation actually
registers the increase of the gravitational field intensity.
As it turns out that the
generated artificial gravitational radiation is directed to the body rotation
centre at the moment of its appearance, then such a radiation can be called
centripetal.
If one looks closely at the
developed pattern of distribution of equipotential lines (lines of equal
intensity) of the additional internal gravitational field near each of the
cantilever bars (see Figure 6, b) of the above-mentioned revolving
fly-wheel, then it turns out that this field biased from the body gravity centre
is the cause which makes this body (in the given case — the massive spoke
built in the form of a massive cantilever bar fixed at the periphery of rotation)
aim to move in space; this field seems to be the cause of the appearance of the
centrifugal force as well.
At the same time, one can assume
that the complex of these additional centripetal gravitational fields biased
from the centre of gravity of each bar is responsible for gyroscopic effect —
for its ability for stabilisation in space and resistance at the force action.
The following elements can be
used in the above-mentioned fly-wheel installation as gravitation sensors:
– a sensitive standard
gravimeter element;
– a light, balanced, freely
installed in clockwork bearings, fixed rotor with several weighs made of
non-magnetic material (melted quartz is the best) located in the hermetic fixed
case co-axially with the axis of rotation of the fly-wheel in the active zone
which is formed by the internal edges of fly-wheel bars (Figure 6, a);
– a non-magnetic and
non-conducting body freely suspended in the hermetic case on a long suspension;
- a fast-rotating gyroscope rotor installed in
the gimbal suspension inside the revolving massive fly-wheel co-axially with
its axis (Figure 7).

Any deviation of rotation axis of
the rotor of such a gyroscope from the fly-wheel axis of rotation should lead to
the appearance of a shift moment aiming to install both rotating bodies
co-axially with each other. Such a moment is caused by the interaction of two
artificial centripetal gravitational radiations, each of which tries to be
located strictly symmetrically relative to the centre of its revolving mass. But
one centripetal field being non-symmetric to the other and interacting with the
first one distorts its symmetry. And this leads to the appearance of the
above-mentioned moment causing the gyroscope aim to rotate on its suspension.
Now again some words about Time.
We have already stated a
supposition concerning the dependence of the single-direction of time flow upon
the process of conversion of Substance into Field, i. e. upon the system
energetics. Developing this postulate further, let us consider the problem of
energy supply of the Sun, in whose system we exist. But let us discuss the
process of such a power supply first.
The German magazine “Spiegel”
has published an article “Black hole — inside the Sun”, which states the
following: “Scientists do not know any longer why the Sun shines. Soviet and
English astronomers and US physicists, in different ways, have come to the same
conclusion: the conventional concept that the thermo-nuclear reaction has been
taking place in the Sun's core for billions of years is probably incorrect”.
So what is the source of the
Sun's power supply? Let us propose our own understanding of the ways to solve
this problem.
Astrophysicists have calculated
that the reserve of only thermal energy in the whole volume of the burning Sun
will suffice for only 30 million years of its continuous operation.
One should pay a special
attention to the fact, which has not been noticed by anybody so far, that the
same amount of energy is contained in the gravitational field of the whole solar
system. A certain energy balance is available in two parts of one active system.
And doesn't this equality indicate the possibility of genetic connection between
these two phenomena that seem to be independent? But if it is so, then it seems
possible to put forward a new hypothesis clarifying the mechanism of the Sun's
power supply and to suppose that it is founded on the participation of the
centripetal gravitational field in it.
When rotating our fly-wheel, we
can notice only one side of the phenomenon — the fact of centripetality of the
additional gravitational radiation. But we cannot see what is concealed behind
it. The scale is too small.
However, with the increase of the
system up to the space scales, the other side of the phenomenon will begin to
manifest itself, which is probably connected just with the Sun's energetics. The
supposed scheme of its power supply assumes that the planets moving over their
orbits continuously convert their substance into an additional gravitational
field. The latter, in the form of the centripetal gravitational radiation, comes
to the Sun and interacting with its substance converts into heat and
electromagnetic radiation providing the continuous radiance. It turns out that
two balanced energy counter flows operate continuously in the solar system: the
first one — from the planets to the Sun in the form of the centripetal
gravitational radiation flux, the second one — from the Sun into the
surrounding space in the form of the electromagnetic radiation flux. And the
mass flow rates in these fluxes are so balanced that they are always strictly
equal.
One can calculate the mass of the
centripetal gravitational flux according to the formula:

If one calculates the mass mfc
of the centripetal gravitational field from each planet and sums up the
results obtained (basement of Item 5), then one will get 4.243623 million t/s,
which differs only by 1.3 % from the known electromagnetic mass (4.3 million
tons = 4.3 • 1012 grams) radiated by the Sun every second.
But if we are on the right way in
our arguments, then such a difference (1.3 %) can only characterise the fact
that we have not taken account of some other considerable mass revolving around
the Sun. However, we know such a mass: it is a wide belt of asteroids (see Line
5 of the table), which, according to the supposition of several authors, was
formed at the collapse of the legendary planet Phaeton.
Using the data on the orbital
velocity of the asteroid belt (V= 14.44 km/s) and the mass of the
centripetal gravitational field (mfc = 0.056377 • 1012
g/s), which has not been taken into account (missing up to the sum of 4.3 • 1012
g/s), one can determine both the summarized mass of all asteroids and smaller
bodies and the rest of parameters given in the table. Therefore, in Item 3 one
can put the calculated mass of the planet Phaeton which has already ceased to
exist.
The last Item 8 of the table
characterizes the reduced intensity of the centripetal radiation from each
planet. It turns out from this item that the farther from the Sun the planet is,
the less intensively it radiates its own gravitational field towards the Sun for
the provision of power supply.
It turns out that the intensity
of the above-mentioned process is determined by the planet's location near the
Sun, i. e. the condition of that place in Space, and in essence — by the
condition of that Space, in which the observation is carried out.
The most interesting planets are
three neighbors — Venus, Earth and Mars. As it follows from the table, as
compared with the Earth, on Venus the process of the substance conversion into
field occurs 1.5 times more intensively and on Mars — 1.5 times more slowly.
Let us suppose that this
continuous process of re-radiation of the gravitational field from the planets
to the Sun is just that factor which determines the flow of our time. And this
process of re-radiation is inversely proportional to the rate of time flow.
Therefore, Item 8 of the Table
shows that on Venus the rate of time flow should be less and on the Mars greater
than that on the Earth. We cannot evaluate quantitatively such changes of the
time rate so far, as we do not know how the magnitude of the aggregate mass of
the radiating body (planet) and other parameters will affect this process
besides the orbital velocity.
So we have accumulated a sort of
logical baggage enabling to approach closely to our understanding of the essence
of TIME. Let us use the method of equivalences discussed in the second chapter
and build another logical triangle system but on the base of the known logical
triangle SUBSTANCE—FIELD—TIME. Here, as in Figure 2 of the second chapter,
the problem of collectivized bonds search also appears. So the common thing, for
the substance and the field, is first of all their mutual conversion, which we
have defined as ENERGY. Then in the original form the target logical system can
look like it has been shown in Figure 8.

But here we have got the
following problem — to find answers at once to 4 questions stated on the right
and on the left of the constructed system. At the first glance, this task is
insoluble.
But actually the problem is
considerably simpler, as one should find answers to only 2 questions, because if
we try to convolute the constructed system into a tetrahedron, we will reveal
that two questions located in pairs on the left or on the right of the system
will join into one question — compare with Figure 2 from the second chapter.
So how should one find answers to
these two remaining questions and what can serve as a prompt? And will the known
formulas representing energy— the Newton's formula E = M0V2
and the Heavyside's formula E = MfC2 help
us in it? This time, we should be interested in the velocity elements V2
and C2, as the other two elements (mass and energy)
in the system in question have already been used by us.
As based on our previous
discussions on the essence of ENERGY, the velocity element V2
should represent MOTION, and the velocity element C2 —
GRAVITATION, then two questions located on the right of the system should be
replaced by one and the same word “GRAVITATION”, and the left ones — by
“MOTION”.
And now let us check whether the obtained
structure of three logical triangles meets all our previous arguments. It turns
out that it does, as the triangle 2 will reflect the essence of the formula E
= M0V2 (Figure 9, a), and the
triangle 3 — that of the formula E = MfC2
(Figure 9, b).

And now let us see what meaning is contained in
the lower triangle 4 (Figure 4) built out of MOTION—GRAVITATION—TIME
and shown in Figure 9, c).
This triangle prompts us that
Time is equivalent to Motion and Gravitation. It looks like that it is this
combination that should be taken into account in the target definition of out
earth time, i. e. the planets MOVING in the Sun's gravitation field over closed
orbits generate an additional centripetal GRAVITATIONAL FIELD which our star
uses for its power supply. And all this complex makes work that universal
mechanism which we do not know yet and which determines both the rate and the
single-direction of out TIME flow.
So based on the information
available, we can already formulate the notion of physical Time but for this aim
we will use the three postulates considered earlier:
the Sun is fed at the expense of
the centripetal gravitational radiation from the planets moving over their
orbits;
the overall single-direction of
our earth time flow is caused by the overall single-direction of the Substance
conversion into Field, which is realised in the process of power supply of the
Sun;
on different planets, time flows
differently.
It turns out that the Sun itself
and its power supply mechanism covering the whole solar system are responsible
for different velocities of processes running in different regions of the solar
system, and, consequently, it is they that determine the time flow.
And it follows from here that if
our logical chain of arguments is true, then for our earth conditions:
TIME is a measure of action of the
Sun's power supply process upon (any) local processes occurring in its
neighbourhood, that is, on planets, and depends upon the distance from the Sun.
Two strictly balanced but
counter-directed energy processes are running in the Sun simultaneously: the
absorption of the gravitational centripetal mass and the radiation of the
electromagnetic mass. Each of these counter-directed global processes should be
responsible for its also counter-directed time flow. And as a result, the
relative time in the Sun for each of the above mentioned phenomena goes
according to its turn, all necessary processes take place and on aggregate (due
to the balance of the re-radiated masses), the internal time always equals zero.
That is, the internal time for burning solar masses is always the same, that is
why the Sun itself having the multi-billion (according to our earth measures)
age is always eternally young!
If one judges about the tendency
of reduction both of the specific centripetal radiation (Item 7 of the table)
and the rate of time with the increase of distance from the Sun, then one can
suppose that beyond the influence of the Sun, the time flow should be retarded (as
compared with the earth time).
Then it turns out that the
Process and the Time characterising it acquire the reality for us only near the
gravitating masses, i. e. near stars. It would be good to understand what
happens with the Process and the Time far from stars, for example, in empty
intergalactic expanses.
Near a star, i.e. on the planets
of the solar system that are known to us, the time flow rate can probably be
characterised by a rate (speed) of flow of some real processes. In this
connection, the messages in mass media on the results of investigations of Venus
and Mars carried out by American automatic space vehicles are of interest. It
has been discovered that on Venus the rate of the process of telemetric
information presentation is considerably retarded, and on Mars the rate of
running of chemical reactions is considerably increased. For example, there are
data that the “reactions which lasted two weeks on the Earth have completed
here (on Mars. — Yu. B.) in two days!”.
And couldn't it be that this
non-conformity between our earth and Martian time has already led to the loss of
several space vehicles intended for Mars investigation? It can be expressed in
the fact that the prepared program for the automatic space vehicles manoeuvring
has not been oriented to the accelerated local time. And as a result, the engine
of such vehicles has produced the non-designed thrust pulses that have led to
the vehicles departure from the designed orbit and, what is quite probable, even
to their falling on the surface of Mars.
Therefore the unprepared visiting
of other planets by astronauts is subject to a great danger, and in order to
avoid it in the subsequent similar unmanned space experiments on the same
planets, it is necessary to include into the measuring equipment the devices
precisely measuring the time (clocks) and not only the mechanical ones but those
based on the use of some process, for example, that of nuclear decay and others,
which, being in the same conditions that the processes under investigation, will
measure the local planet time. And comparing their readings with the readings of
the earth clocks, for example, by means of radio signals, one can evaluate the
relative time and thus confirm or disprove this hypothesis concerning the nature
of our earth time and prevent possible difficulties for astronauts.
We (here on the Earth) establish
our earth time by the position of the Sun in the sky. And in order to observe
this condition in all parts of the Earth, one has invented the so-called “time
zones” and “zone time”. If it is finally confirmed experimentally that
every planet has its own time rate, then in the future, by the analogy with the
earth “time zones”, the man will have to invent similar “interplanetary
time zones”.
In addition, in order to
establish the quantitative dependencies between the value of the time rate and
the orbital velocity, the mass of the planet, etc., it seems to be expedient to
conduct similar investigations by means of several special space vehicles,
launching them simultaneously around the Sun, for example, to intermediate
orbits between the planets, etc.
So we have found out that Time as
a physical substance does not exist in Nature — it is a fruit of our
imagination, which we have invented for the convenience of our orientation in
space. However, the understanding of all aspects connected with it is very
important for the practical activity of man.
5. MECHANICAL MOTION
It has been shown how the known
Feinman's diagrams visually demonstrating the processes of vacuum fluctuations
in substance can be applied for the explanation of the mechanical motion process
and a physical definition has been given to it.
Everyone understands that in
order to shift a body in space, it is necessary to push it, i. e. to deform
elastically. Consequently, the beginning of any mechanical displacement is
preceded by the appearance (or increase) of elastic strains and stresses in it,
which, according to the 3rd FPGE lead to the appearance (or increase) of the
internal gravitational field. So the origination of the additional gravitational
field occurs in the process of development of internal elastic stresses at the
moment of body deformation or at its acceleration.
According to the 3rd FPGE, the
character of distribution and the intensity of strength of such an additional
external field fully correspond to the character of distribution and the
intensity of internal elastic stresses. If two groups of counter-directed and
symmetrically located elastic stresses arise in the body under study, then the
body will remain at rest — only its parts will elastically move relative to
each other at the expense of strains.
This is the case of elastic
deformation of the body. We can refer here the case when the body quietly lies
on the rigid support. It has been deformed by the Earth's gravitational field
and its displacement (free fall) is hampered by elastic stresses arising in the
support due to the body weight. In other words, one group of elastic stresses
located in the body is counteracted by another group of stresses located in the
support, creating a certain pattern of symmetry or pseudo-symmetry, as no full
mirror symmetry of elastic strains is, of course, not observed here; however,
the sums of the counter-directed elastic stresses are “symmetric”. If one
makes a vector summation of all forces caused by the elastic stresses, then it
will turn out that the body is at rest when this sum is equal to zero (the first
Newton's law).
The same is the location of the
additional gravitational field around the body, and it accurately repeats
everything that happens to it.
If we remove the support, i. e.
disturb the pseudo-symmetry of elastic stresses, then the body will start moving
at the expense of the redistribution of internal strains. And the external own
gravitational field will also start re-distributing, precisely repeating
everything that happens to the body. So it follows from our arguments that the
original cause of the body displacement in space is the appearance in it of the
non-symmetrically located elastic stresses and strains.
According to the 3rd FPGE, the
process of changes of motion (acceleration) is directly connected with the
changes of both internal elastic strains and the external gravitational field.
The inevitable question follows from here: what happens in this case inside the
substance?
The progress of the quantum
mechanics enables us to have a glance inside the substance and theoretically
imagine the behaviour of any particles of which this substance consists. The
quantum mechanics offers to consider a solid body consisting of a particle
system in the form of fields system. It is believed that “as it is the
interaction between the fields that causes the transition of excitations from
one field to another, then at the interaction the generation of some particles
and disappearance of the other ones take place”.
Such particles are called virtual.
“Each of the acts of absorption (disappearance) of particles can be considered
as their transition into an invisible vacuum state, and the production, vice
versa, as the transition from the lower (by energy) vacuum state into a state
with a higher energy”. It turns out that a solid body consisting of the
particle system is a cluster of system of fields which continuously disappear
and appear again — pulse — at the interaction with vacuum (ether). The
particles take part in such a process in pairs; this pair should comprise
particles differing by the sign of charge, i. e. a particle and an anti-particle
— for example, electron and positron.
Such a process is described
graphically. For example, conversions of the above mentioned pair are depicted
by the known Feinman's diagram (Figure 10).

In addition, it has been
established that the time of flow of the counter-directed processes of
conversion of virtual particles is so short that they are considered as flowing
simultaneously, i. e. an electron being born at once converts into a positron
which immediately converts into the same electron again. It is believed that
practically these two particles exist at the same time, though actually they
disappear and appear in turn, i.e. while one of them is real, the other
disappears and is in the virtual (vacuum) state.
Such transformations are not
stretched in time, and the conversion diagram is symmetric, or one can say that
there exists a “symmetry of the virtual pair electron-positron”. As the
above mentioned axis of symmetry of the diagram considered, we mean the line
passing through the extreme positions in which a particle appears at its
transformations, i. e. through the points 1 and 2. The solid line in the diagram
shows the real particle state, and the dotted line — its virtual state. The
particle in the “initial” state 1 can be called real, and in the state 2 —
virtual.
Other particles, of which the
solid body at rest consists, have the same behaviour. In this case, it is
believed that any real particles are sure to have their virtual reflection in
the form of their own anti-particles.
Such continuous processes of
mutual conversion of particles represented by the Feinman's diagram (Figure 10)
support the existence of the real mass structure. Consequently, the state of
rest for the body has also the character of continuous particle conversion, and
all mass characteristics and its properties are realised at the expense of such
processes.
Let us make one more step in the
analysis of such processes, by means of which we perhaps will understand the
basics of mechanical motion and conversion in the substance, which, in turn,
will probably help us to approach the understanding of the mass essence.
Let us suppose that at the
application of a force to the body that distorts its inner structure, the
“symmetry” of sums of the counter-directed elastic stresses is to be
violated and, therefore, the virtual pair symmetry should be violated, i.e. the
positron that has disappeared forms an electron at a new place corresponding to
the character of the arising internal stresses and, consequently, to the
direction of displacement. Therefore, it is proposed to change the Feinman's
diagram so that it would reflect the motion process too. Such a motion diagram
can have the following form (Figure 11).

Considering the proposed diagram,
we find that the motion begins at the appearance of the virtual pair
non-symmetry. In this case, the synchronous directional process of continuous
conversion of all virtual particles into the real ones runs in front of the body
in the direction of motion, and behind the body — the process of conversion of
real particles into the virtual ones occurs.
In addition, it is assumed that
the mutual conversions do not coincide (are stretched) in time, and because of
it the body acquires the acceleration and the velocity.
But in this case, two variants
are probable:
1) the step of such a
displacement — quantum ê
(see Figure 2) is constant, and the velocity of motion is determined by the
number of such steps per time unit.
2) the step ê
at the acceleration increases but the frequency (the number of steps per
time unit) remains constant.
If a force is applied to a body
at rest, then the body will begin to deform elastically, and the internal
processes will be activated in it, which precede the beginning of motion. Such
processes are the growth of the elastic deformation energy of a fixed body,
which then is realised in the acceleration and the displacement velocity as well
as the growth of the realisation intensity of mutual conversion of virtual and
real particles. However, when the body remains at rest (at the symmetry of the
internal stress system), the process of virtual particle conversion retains the
symmetric character and the body remains at rest. And the disturbance of such a
symmetry is the motion, i. e. one can say that
MOTION is a process of
non-symmetrical synchronous conversion of all virtual particles into real, and
real ones into virtual, i. e. the appearance of the real particles in front of
the body and their disappearance behind the body.
6. MASS
A supposition has been stated that
the mechanism of any substance transformations such as chemical, nuclear,
thermonuclear ones as well as all conversions at phase transfers (solid ↔
liquid, liquid ↔ steam) including the process of restructuring of atoms at
crystallisation appear to be akin to usual mechanical displacement discussed in
Chapter 3 and also occur according to the scheme being considered. In other
words, a single mechanism of realisation of any natural process is being offered.
On this basis, a physical definition of Mass has been given.
If the proposed motion diagram
applied to the motion process corresponds to reality, then it turns out that any
continuous motion (displacement) is discrete, as there are stopping moments in
this complicated process.
At the uniform motion through
equal time intervals, a skipping of elementary parts of substance from one
position onto another occurs, i. e. in every act of such an action, the
transition from one quality to another takes place.
When the substance remains
standing before a regular skipping, an increase of medium (field) distortion
between the neighbouring substance particles occurs, which contributes to its
displacement onto another position. It turns out that any motion is a periodic
wave process, as the periodic tension and weakening of the medium (field)
between neighbouring elementary substance particles should produce a motion wave,
in which every elementary displacement acts are divided by stops.
In this case, it turns out that
the Continuous (a wave process) is formed from the Discrete — out of their
elementary acts (let us remember and compare with the corpuscular-wave dualism
of light). And the discrete itself is a stable and necessary form of
manifestation of continuity of uniformly running processes.
It seems probable that any
substance transformations such as chemical, nuclear, thermonuclear as well as
transformations at phase transfers (solid↔ liquid, liquid ↔
steam), including the process of restructuring of atoms at crystallisation,
also occur according to the scheme being considered (see Figure 11), though
unlike the process of mechanical motion, the overall synchronicity of conversion
of all body particles is lost in various processes of structural transformation
of the substance. However, in this case, each particle still retains the
conversion synchronicity only with several particles comprising a certain
complex, which should occupy a new position in the substance structure, for
example, as a part of electron, proton, the nucleus as a whole, atom, molecule,
crystal, etc. In addition, they move synchronously in the direction assigned by
the reaction type. As a result, we get a crystal from the liquid, a new chemical
compound or even new chemical element — from several simple substances.
So it turns out that the
mechanism of any substance conversion seems to be akin to usual mechanical
displacement.
Consequently, a static state of
the substance, in principle, cannot exist in Nature. The existence of substance
is a continuous virtual exchange process, and it is similar to the fact that the
existence of biological life is possible only at the availability of the
substance exchange process. Moreover, this fact is decisive for the provision of
a possibility of development of Substance, i. e. the processes of continuous
virtual fluctuations of substance provide both its existence and all the forms
of its transformations.
As a result, the familiarisation
with the mass structure has enabled us to conceive that the physical essence of
the notion MASS manifests itself only at the expense of the process of Motion
based upon the internal fluctuation conversions.
Thus, the state of rest for the
body also has a dynamic character of continuous particle conversions, and all
characteristics of a fixed mass and its properties are realised only at the
expense of these processes — the processes of internal motion.
And at last we have probably
“grown ripe” to give our definition to mass, as we already know that all
physical characteristics including the mass magnitude manifest themselves as a
result of Interaction always based upon Motion being realised on the basis of
never stopping process of mutual conversion of the SUBSTANCE↔FIELD system.
Depending upon the character of
interaction and the way of measurement, mass can be defined either by
gravitational or by inertial properties, which are an external reflection of the
internal process of virtual fluctuations directly connected with the surrounding
space; therefore, let us say that
MASS characterised by external
gravitational and inertial properties is a measure of assessment of the process
of internal virtual fluctuations.
The definition of Mass given
above enables to formulate a new problem denoted in the heading of the next
chapter.
7. GRAVITATIONAL FIELD
A supposition has been stated
about the gravitational field structure and it has been shown that the
gravitational field and the gravitational radiation are far from being the same.
They differ in the same way as, for example, the electric field differs from the
electromagnetic radiation.
Field of virtual particles
that is in the form of field and is a permanent accessory of any mass that is in
the form of substance determines the body energetics and is, as it seems, the
substance which the gravitational field consists.
Therefore, the gravitational
field is always “tied up” to the body, as the virtual particles are always
the result of the real particles comprising the body structure. And this is why
the gravitational field exercises only an attractive action upon foreign bodies,
having, in this case, an absolute permeability. Though this “absoluteness”
can be considered just as a process of consecutive gravitational field
enforcement as the attracting masses are joining.
In order to understand a large
extent of such a field relative to the size of a compact body, which has given
birth to it, it is necessary to imagine that the virtual particle (unlike the
real one) also has a large extent — a sort of the known longitudinal photon
“smeared” over the whole Universe.
The virtual particle, being at
the same time both the substance structure and the vacuum structure, polarises (distorts)
vacuum. Therefore, one can say that the gravitational field is vacuum (ether)
polarised by the presence of substance.
However, in this case, it is
necessary to note specially that the gravitational field and the gravitational
radiation are not the same. They differ in the same way as, for example, the
electric field differs from the electromagnetic radiation.
The gravitational field
consisting of virtual particles that are a permanent body accessory and fully
subordinated to processes occurring inside substance, is only a reflection in
vacuum of the structure of this body and the internal processes, which support
the existence of this structure.
Whereas the gravitational
radiation consisting of independent and more active particles, for example, from
gravitons, is itself a process characterising and determining the body
energetics.
And now let us consider the mass
structure in the course of its conversion in the SUBSTANCE↔FIELD system.
8. SUBSTANCE AND FIELD
On the basis of new concepts about
the structure of substance and field stated in previous chapters, a complicated
process of their mutual conversion has been demonstrated. A conditional plot
showing the appearance of two significantly differing structures at the mutual
conversion of substance and field has been constructed.
Let us state our idea about the
structure of Substance and Field and show on this basis the mechanism of their
mutual conversions.
As the additional gravitational
field arises, first of all, at the force deformation of the body, i. e. at the
force interaction of two bodies, one can imagine hypothetically that only one
absolutely elementary material body, which has not entered the interaction with
the other body, will never be able to have its own gravitational field;
consequently, it will not be able to have its own mass, i.e. a qualitative
measure, though it retains a quantitative measure — a sort of inertial mass
truncated by the absence of gravitational field (in our understanding).
It is quite probable that vacuum,
which though does not have a gravitational mass but, however, exercises a
decisive influence upon the inertial and elastic properties of bodies, consists
of similar elementary mass-free bodies — of the hypothetical z-particles (amers).
But the material body comprised of two such elementary vacuum (ether) parts
connected with each other will already be a gravitational mass, as both parts
are joined together (compressed) by some forces and it is the phenomenon of
force interaction (compression) that gives birth to the gravitational field. But
as one should spend energy on the force compression, then one can say that the
gravitational field is energetic, i. e. is a carrier of mechanical energy. This
has already been mentioned in Chapter 3.
If z-particle is really the most
elementary natural mass, then one can imagine that joining of such separate
elements to each other leads to the “birth” of various mass varieties (of
the various particle types) as well as to an increase of both the aggregate mass
and the aggregate energy. And the internal mass energy itself will be contained
in the cohesion forces between its separate parts. Then it turns out that the
atomic bomb energy is contained in the above-mentioned cohesion forces between
separate elements of the products of future nuclear decay.
It is known that substance has a
rest mass but it “has no right” to move at the speed of light. A photon
moving only at the speed of light does not have a rest mass but has a motion
mass and is born (radiated) by substance. If one can imagine a hypothetical
situation when substance is subject to a long continuous acceleration, then, in
the end, as a result of the process of the substance conversion into field, at v=c,
substance will convert into a sort of a cluster of photons. But such “photons”,
besides their infinitesimal pure electromagnetic mass mel, will
also contain a great gravitational field mass mc, i.e. it is
implied that an additional field mass converted from the substance mass in the
acceleration process will join the main mass of the produced photons. Such a
cluster of photons having a super-powerful gravitational field acting, according
to their character, upon other material objects will remind the so-called
“black hole”. Therefore, nothing will be able to counteract such a moving
object.
Besides the mysterious
electromagnetic photon mass mel, a not less mysterious
graviton mass mgr has been mentioned in the literature for a
long time, which is, as it is believed, a particle, of which the gravitational
field consists. But it seems that this is not exactly the case. The
gravitational field is always “tied up” with the body, and the gravitons
cannot be an isolated part of this body. They either enter the inertial mass as
a component, or being radiated tear off from the body and independently move in
space at tremendous speed Â
considerably exceeding the velocity of light, for
example, equal to  = 90
000 000 000 km/s.
Let us state our idea of the
structure of such a graviton.
One can imagine that the graviton
consists of the above-mentioned z-particles connected with each other in pairs.
Then, if the “elementary” graviton mass mgr is divided
into components, then two more “elementary” independent ether (vacuum)
z-particles — amers — will be born. However, as it has already been noted,
though the vacuum particles being born will have their own quantitative measure
— the inertial mass, they will not have their own gravitational field and
gravitational mass, otherwise ether would always reveal itself.
One can imagine that as a result
of realisation of any Process based upon the above considered vacuum fluctuation
processes one half of the active mass of gravitons acquires as if a negative
value, i. e. one of the two amers in the graviton structure becomes actively
connected with vacuum (this bond is similar to the process shown in Figure 11)
and maybe belongs to it. It turns out that the graviton “on one of its legs”
stands in the real world and on the other — it has settled down in the virtual
world. This is why the graviton is that bridge which connects us with the
intangible vacuum world, but which, however, we perceive only at moments of
acceleration of bodies, as the inertial forces seem to be connected with the
process of graviton radiation.
It is not excluded that recently
some authors have begun to mention this process of graviton production as the
vacuum (ether) energy, And it is this fact that enables us to understand their
statements that “energy is contained in vacuum and is produced from it”.
When the body is accelerated, i.
e. it performs the work for overcoming the inertial forces, each elementary
substance particle and the gravitational field connected with it “chip off”
from themselves one amer each: (+)z — positive part of the
active mass connected with substance and (−)z — negative part of
the active mass connected with vacuum (gravitational field).
It is these two parts joining
each other that produce the mysterious gravitons.
All this on the whole can be
represented graphically (Figure 12).

But this diagram is rough, as the
interface between Ms and m clearly is not a straight
line but a curve and it should be brought into conformity with formulas (6) and
(7).
Figure 12 shows that there exist
two interrelated and interdependent but materially different worlds — the
world of Substance and the world of Fields. However, the pattern depicted in
this figure has been deliberately distorted in order to underline that these
worlds exist in a sort of “mirror” symmetry.
A fixed body has an infinitesimal
mass of its own field m0 and a great substance mass Ms.
The body acceleration is connected with the gradual conversion of substance
into field, therefore a body reaching the velocity of light will acquire a great
field mass mc and additionally an infinitesimal mass similar
to the substance mass. This additional mass will consist of N photons
having only the motion mass and existing only in the region of the velocity of
light c. Such photon mass Nmel moving at the velocity of light
is also, according to the representation in the figure, in some sense a mirror
representation of the internal field mass m0 that is characteristic
of a fixed body.
If one reveals that the number of
z-particles in the photon structure is even, then a question will be inevitable
whether any photon is built from the doubled positive amers of the type ( + )2z,
i. e. mel = n( + )2z.
As it can be seen from the
plot, the real world differs from the virtual one in not only its structure but
in the world of velocities. The velocity of light ñ1
is the upper limit for the real world. At the same time, this velocity c1
is the minimal velocity for the virtual world. So it serves as an interface
between these two worlds. And the illusive electromagnetic mass (photon) exists
only within the limits of this ghostly boundary.
If one looks deeply inside
this unknown virtual world by means of our plot, then one will also be able to
reveal in practice still higher velocities, which should be referred to other
structures rather than light and which will be able to have their own reference
(fundamental) points, for example ñ2,
ñ3,
c4, etc. The authors of several works
believe that such a series is possible up to c5. For example, the
author of some work believes that the maximal velocity in Nature is not the
velocity of light but “the velocity at which the global perturbation of the
Environment (Meta-vacuum) is able to reach the borders of our Metagalaxy, i. å.
1051 cm/s”, which is close to c5.
So analysing the process of body
motion in vacuum, we have come to the understanding of a complicated
interconnection of substance and field, which are determining in understanding
of the physical essence of mass. It has turned out that mass has a deeper
content and its definition should reflect a complicated process of mutual
transfer SUBSTANCE↔ FIELD and not primitively evaluate the amount of
substance. Thus, mass is a characteristic of
these processes. That is why the notion of mass cannot be reduced to the
substantial notion of a thing and its quantitative characteristic. Therefore, we
need a procedural approach here. And that is why the notion of mass proposed
above has been attached to the process of conversion SUBSTANCE↔FIELD.
All substance conversions are
connected with the absorption or dissipation of energy. Such energy processes
begin according to the “usual” scheme (Figure 11) — at first a real
particle converts into a virtual one. But the virtual particle obtained does not
convert back into the same real one, and being in the vacuum state it breaks
down into new particles — virtual gravitons (-)mgr consisting of
two connected mass-free vacuum particles (−)z — amers: (-)mgr
= (−)z + (−)z = (=)2z (see Figure 12).
The virtual graviton (-)mgr,
being in its vacuum state, either breaks down into components, for example, into
virtual particles (−)z, all of which at once convert into real amers (+)z,
from which, in turn, the real particles are produced, or, due to the activation
of fluctuation processes connected with changes of the stress-and strain state,
the virtual graviton converts only one of its amers into the real state
(−)z →(+)z, retaining the second one at the virtual state (−)z
= (−)z, and, thus, on the whole, converts the virtual graviton into the
real graviton (=)2z =(-)mgr →(+)mgr = =(+)z +
(−)z = (± )2z, which at once is radiated (see the plot in Figure 12).
The Process of radiation by the
body (substance) of such gravitons, i. e. the conversion of substance into field
considered before is energy. And as the radiation of gravitons is directly
connected with Motion, then such a process determining our notion of energy will
surely serve as a widely known “measure of momentum”!
The process of radiation of
gravitons produced at the body acceleration is a consequence of fluctuation
processes depicted by the motion diagram (Figure 11), and the intensity of such
a manifestation is inversely proportional to the velocity of light c2
squared and directly proportional to the acceleration “a”, i. e. is a
function both of c-2 and of “a”.
So one can come to the conclusion
that the world of Vacuum is as infinitely variable as the world of Substance,
because the processes occurring in it are a mirror reflection of the processes
occurring with Substance. And if one assumes that Vacuum can have its additional
properties and peculiarities and its specific processes can take place in it,
then it is not excluded that Vacuum is even more variable and far greater area
belongs to it in the plot (see Figure 12).
Moreover, one cannot exclude that
vacuum (like substance) is able to form its unique structures, which, however,
are inaccessible to our perception.
But any conversions, any motion,
acceleration, energetics and many others are directly connected with the
structure of vacuum, as all real conversions of substance, which seem to be
visible to us, at the same time, occur in the invisible virtual and not in our
real World. We are doomed to see only their results but not the processes
themselves!
Probably this is the reason why
both we and our descriptive science — physics are mostly fit for perception of
the stationary state of substance — statics and not of its dynamics. Though in
reality, as it has already been noted, there is no statics in Nature.
And now let us pass to the
consideration of the problem of the relativity principle, the more so that the
mechanical displacement process considered earlier and directly connected with
any conversion in the SUBSTANCE ↔ FIELD system directly relates to it.
9. PRINCIPLE OF RELATIVITY
On the basis of the above stated
new concepts about mutual conversions inside the SUBSTANCE—FIELD system, it
has been shown what the principle of relativity means, what it is based upon and
how it is realised in Nature.
As it is known, the field
magnitude m defines the gravitational interaction which is calculated
according the known formula of the Newton's law of gravitation. Therefore, as it
has been noted, the interacting masses contained in such a formula are not
inertial (quantitative) but gravitational (qualitative). And this is why all
relativistic effects and, first of all, the mass increase have been interpreted
as seeming. In reality, all the revealed effects are quite real — only their
interpretation is unreal.
As it has been noted, in order to
evaluate the relativistic effect of the mass increase correctly, a relativistic
correction factor should be introduced into the Newton's law of gravitation for
two moving bodies:

The analysis of formula (11)
shows that when one of the interacting bodies moves, the force of their
gravitation interaction (attraction) grows proportionally to the velocity of
relative motion, which is equivalent to the increase of the mass being measured.
And couldn't it be so that in
this increase of interaction (11) Nature has concealed the so-called “hidden
mass of the Universe” or at least a part of it? Astrophysicists have been
conducting disputes about this mass lately due to the fact that the astronomic
observations give the aggregate mass values of planetary objects that differ
considerably from those, which should be derived on the basis of the recent
ideas about the Universe. However, formula (11) shows that all masses known in
astronomy, being gravitational masses, exceed in magnitude the real amount of
Substance filling the Universe. It is a very important information for the
present-day astrophysics.
Formula (11) is an elaborated
Newton's formula for the assessment of gravitational interaction of two moving
bodies, which is also valid for two bodies at rest.
But as in the real earth
experiments at the measurement of the magnitude of F the mutual
displacement of bodies occurs at very low velocities, i. e. at v = 0,
formula (11) can be used in the form in which it was given by Newton.
So we have found out that the
mass allowed for in the law of gravitation is the mass which according to the
theory of relativity grows with the increase of the velocity. In other words, we
have found a certain point of contact between the classical and the relativistic
mechanics which are insistently declared incompatible over and over again.
The classical Newtonian mechanics
has stood a 300-year testing, and with good reason it is considered that its
laws are fully adequate to really observed processes occurring in Nature.
And as to the current theory of
relativity, the researchers have a lot of claims to it — it is very vague and
uncertain, is perceived with difficulties, though it is originally based on an
easily verifiable and, therefore, correct principle of addition of velocities
that is also called the “Galilean relativity”.
Consequently, the basics of the
principle of relativity require extra thinking and elaboration, therefore it is
expedient to consider them.
As it is known, the general
theory of relativity, besides the unsuccessful attempt to develop the theory of
gravitation, is devoted mainly to effects connected with the motion of
gravitating body. We have already begun the statement of our attitude and the
consideration of such effects connected both with mass and with velocity by
means of formulas (6), (7), (9) and (11) and will continue next.
Thinking about formula (11), one
can come to realisation of the fact that any body displacement occurs not in the
emptiness but in a medium called vacuum (ether), the interaction with which (or
by means of which) determines all the above considered motion effects, including
the relativistic relations. But such effects, however, are inaccessible to an
Einsteinian observer, because such an observer sees only the fact of motion but
does not see all the processes which accompany this motion in vacuum.
It is because of this such an
observer, as the current theory of relativity interprets, perceives the
relativistic effects as seeming. But if we take such an observer as an equitable
participant of motion and allow for all processes occurring with him, then the
relativism mysterious for us will become a routine reality capable to explain a
variety of mysterious Nature phenomena, which were not known before.
Though the observer is usually
taken as one of the bodies in the existing theory, but, unfortunately, this
theory does not take account of his “fate” in the process of interaction.
Therefore, one should understand from such a theory that only one body always
takes part in the interaction, and results in confusion and in uncertainty,
which accompany such a theory.
Let us try and correct this
omission and let us make an elementary analysis of such processes, which may
enable us to understand the principles (basics) of relativism on the grounds of
a deeper understanding of the principle of mechanical motion and conversion in
the SUBSTANCE ↔FIELD system. In order to do this, let us imagine that the
observer is also the same body as the body under investigation. Here several
cases are possible.
If the observer moves uniformly
together with the body under investigation, then the same processes occur with
him as with the body under observation; such an observer will not notice any
difference and thus will note a relative state of rest however he would compare
these processes. Similarly, we also do not feel water whose temperature is
exactly equal to the temperature of our body.
If the body under investigation
acquires an acceleration, i. e. if the virtual processes intensify in it, then
the observer on the spot will notice the difference in the processes being
compared and thus can note this as an increase of the weak gravitational
potential whose source is the accelerating body. It is this fact that is not
taken into account in the known theories. In order to take it into consideration,
it is proposed to introduce a relativistic factor into the formula of the
Newton's law of gravitation, which will take account of the change of the force
gravitational interaction from the change of the relative velocity of the
interacting bodies — the same as it has been done in formula (11).
If the observer starts to
accelerate relative to the fixed body and the intensification of the virtual
processes begins in him, then he will note it, without any comparison, in the
form of internal acceleration and internal inertial forces, and at the prolonged
uniform acceleration — most probably an impression can be created with him
that a strong outside gravitational potential acts upon him permanently, though
in reality only a weak additional internal gravitational potential arises with
him.
So we already know that
mechanical motion is directly connected with the process of synchronous
conversion of real particles into virtual ones and vice versa (see Chapter 5).
But this definition relates only to one body, though the presence of a second
body is needed for the appearance (or alteration) of motion, and for the
consideration of the principle of relativity it is necessary to take account of
their interaction, for the relativistic effects manifest themselves just as
changes of body parameters, but only at its interaction with the other body.
It is in this word
“interaction” that the BASIS of the principle of relativity is contained,
which has not been taken into account at all in the current theory of relativity.
And this is due to the fact that only one body figuring in any relativistic
transformations cannot “interact” — there is no interaction object
available.
Therefore, in order to understand
any relativistic effect inherent to any separate body, it is necessary to study
its background and take account of everything that has happened with it: how the
velocity changes have occurred (the acceleration), what changes of elastic
stresses and strains have occurred, with what body the interaction has occurred,
etc. And otherwise — with what are we to compare?
Therefore, for the convenience
and correctness of perception of the basics of the principle of relativity by
means of motion diagrams already known from the previous chapters and in order
to take account of the process of interaction, they should be depicted in pairs
and located relative to the common axis of symmetry. If in this case a fully
symmetrical pattern turns out (Figure 13), then both bodies are mutually fixed.

If the diagram depicted in Figure
13 is joined along the common axis of symmetry, then we will derive the diagram
depicted in Figure 14 and coinciding in its form with the diagram in Figure 10
describing the process in the fixed body. In other words, according to the
theory of relativity two bodies in such a state can be considered as a single
whole (Figure 14, c).

If a body accelerates, then this
process can be considered either as a uniform increase of the number of small
virtual “steps” (quanta k, see Figure 11) per time unit, or as a
gradual increase of their size. Therefore, the motion diagram for one
accelerating body can be depicted as follows (Figure 15).

The process of synchronous
uniform acceleration of two bodies can also be depicted in the form of doubled
motion diagrams (Figure 16). If the motion diagram depicted in Figure 16, a is
also joined along the axis of symmetry, then we will derive Figure 16, c, which
is surprisingly similar to the generally accepted representation of the
distribution of equipotential lines of the internal gravitational field around a
gravitating body (Figure 4).

Analysing Figure 16, c, one can
say that both the acceleration and the gravitation additionally distort the
motion diagram. And by means of such a general pattern, one can represent the
equivalence between gravitation and acceleration. Thus we approach the
possibility of graphical explanation of the Einstein's “strong” principle of
equivalence who declared the equivalence (identity) of acceleration and
gravitation.
The coupled diagrams being
considered give us an opportunity to understand that both in a body subjected to
continuous acceleration and in a body situated in the strong gravitational field
the same virtual processes take place, which lead to the appearance of identical
additional internal gravitational fields determining relativity.
As it is known, the notion
“relativity” means, first of all, comparison. Therefore, the stated above
enables to suppose that the true relativity MEANS the comparison of the internal
virtual processes of mutual particle conversion for two objects under
investigation. And this is the reason why in order to evaluate the principle of
relativity and also to formulate fundamental definitions, etc., it is necessary
to look only for a Process.
Then it turns out that the
relativity in Nature is REALISED in the natural continuous external process of
comparison of the intensity of the internal processes in question that are
responsible for the existence of the given objects.
In addition, it is not excluded
that everything in Nature is reduced to a recalculation of elementary acts of
fluctuations in the interacting bodies and to the comparison of the results
obtained. In this case, such a comparison occurs only at those moments when the
particles are in the virtual state.
And in theory such processes can
be evaluated by elementary vector addition. In any case, joint processes
determining their interaction always occur in the interacting bodies.
The realisation of such joint
processes determines the fundamental basis of the Galilean principle of
relativity — COMPARISON at the INTERACTION, to which all procedural world
obeys.
And all predicted Einsteinian (seeming)
consequences of such an interaction — changes of mass, dimension, time, etc.
are quite real. They have appeared to be “seeming” because of their
incorrect interpretation, first of all, due to the lack of account of
INTERACTION.
10. SUMMARY
So the Third fundamental principle
of gravitational equivalence stated by the author as well as its interpretation
stated in this report have enabled to demonstrate that in Nature there exists a
unity of all manifestations based upon a single, for all phenomena, mechanism of
the process of fluctuation conversion SUBSTANCE—FIELD and realised in any
interaction, which can be characterised on the basis of the principle of
relativity.
However, evaluating the known
relativistic mathematical transformations, one can come to a conclusion that the
currently existing theory of relativity lost the Galilean principle of
relativity in its origination, because though it deals with the interaction, it
turns out that, for some reason, only one body is always in this
“interaction” (see any relativistic transformation), though it is clear to
everybody that only two bodies should interact. And this condition should be
strictly observed, first of all, when considering the basics of the mechanical
motion energy — as a usual common sense requires.
In such an approach, it is
manifested that the whole classical Newton's theory is deeply relativistic,
because it is based on principles of Interaction. Therefore, the known Newton's
laws of mechanics that are the basis of the whole classical physics are quite
adequate to the principles of relativism and can fully serve as the basis for
its further development.
So the First law considering a
uniform motion of one body underlines its full isolation and the absence of any
process, any interaction at the availability of only one body.
The second law (F = Ma) taking
account of the application of force to the considered mass M implies an
obligatory interaction with the second body providing the acceleration due to
the application of this force. And just the Third law (action is equal to
counteraction) clearly expresses the interaction.
But the law of gravitation causes
a special delight as a striking example of correct observance of the principle
of relativity — it considers the result of interaction of two (!!) masses.
In order to understand, at last,
the basics of correct construction of principles of relativism and correctly
perceive them, it is necessary, first of all, to arrange the correct experiments
on practical detection and assessment of the relativistic interaction of the
SUBSTANCE↔FIELD just on the basis and in the framework of the classical
mechanics. One such experiment, which is not very complicated in principle, was
proposed in the report by the author.
The uniform motion and the fixed
velocity v, which is always compared with always constant velocity of light c2
squared, taken as the basis of the mathematical apparatus of the theory of
relativity as well as the effects connected with them — these are already
“remains of the violent past”, which happened with the then accelerated
bodies — almost statics. Because of it, such effects are very weak and,
therefore, the theory describing them has never been able to be properly proved
experimentally.
Therefore, the updated future
theory of relativity should be based upon the analysis of effects being produced
not at the uniform but at the accelerated or retarded body motion. In order to
increase the reliability of assessment of the effects under investigation, it is
necessary to distinguish the uniform acceleration in this theory, including free
fall, from the accelerated acceleration. The latter, as the experiments
described in [1, 3, 12] have shown, is able to give the strongest and easily
detectable manifestations. For the first time, the fly-wheel experiment (see
Figure 6) was mentioned in the work [14] but it had been realised as far back as
1978.
Consequently, the problem of the
integrated study of Acceleration is a great scientific problem of the future,
whose solution will enable to answer many questions posed by Nature before
naturalists, who, in their thorough investigations, will permanently find that
the Nature being under study is the richest world of Processes, the world of
continuous changes and conversions rather than that of primitive statics, as the
present-day physics tries to suggest.
Therefore, in order to overcome
the protracted crisis, the review of our numerous deep-rooted concepts is
inevitable, maybe even painful but urgent, because it turns out from the new
representations that energy and time are rather philosophical than physical
categories, as neither energy nor time exist in Nature — they are rather the
fruit of our imagination, which has been produced by us and for our convenience.
In Nature, there do not exist
Phenomena but only Processes perceived by us as phenomena that are realised as a
transfer from one state into another, as a conversion of one category into
another. And the essence of these “Transfers” and “Conversions” in the
SUBSTANCE ↔ FIELD system are perceived by us in the form of a variety of
manifestations, which we call Energy, Mass, Time, Force, etc.
All this is very difficult to
perceive at once, but if one still steps over the arising aversion then a
picture of the universe will open before the eyes of the curious reader, which
is surprising in its infinite simplicity and harmony.
It is necessary to underline once
again that the 3rd FPGE declared by the author enables to suppose the
possibility of violation of the equivalence (absolute equality) between the
gravitational and inertial masses — this foundation of the whole present-day
physics. For example, it follows from the Third principle that the force of
gravitational interaction is proportional not only to the magnitudes of the
interacting masses but also to the velocity of their relative displacement.
Therefore, gravitational experiments with moving bodies should be considered as
a priority.
Besides, the updated Principle of
Relativity, which can be interpreted as the Principle of Interaction, can fully
be a basis for development of a new energy theory built, for example, in the
form of the Theory of Processes based upon mutual conversion inside the
SUBSTANCE ↔ FIELD system, which we have considered in the framework of the
Third fundamental principle of gravitational equivalence stated in two reports.
To this end, the theory of
relativity itself, as it has been noted, needs to be corrected “a little”,
as its main basis was founded as far back as the end of the 19th century by
Einstein's predecessors. And all that has happened since that time and those
violent disputes around it have involuntarily been directed at the deep-rooting,
in our consciousness, of non-complicated, though very difficult to perceive but
generally correct basics and principles of relativism. Only their
interpretations are incorrect due to the artificial isolation from the classical
mechanics. In short, the theory of relativity is the powerful theory of the
future but it also requires a present-day restructuring and our new thinking.
A new fight in science lies ahead
for the implementation of new fundamental ideas about the nature of gravitation
(ether-vacuum) in public consciousness, based upon the adequate perception of
the principle of relativity, which was correctly realised in the Newton's
classical mechanics long ago.
And one wants to hope that the
Third fundamental principle of gravitational equivalence considered in this work
will in this case appear to be in demand.
But do any new scientific crises
lie in store for us? Yes, they do. And they will inevitably repeat again and
again as there will emerge the new fundamental scientific facts (scientific
discoveries) radically changing our world outlook.
The nearest crisis is already
ripe and is on the point of breaking out; this will happen as soon as there
appears the information about the detection, in practice, of the new (for us)
state of the Matter — PHYSICAL VACUUM (the long-suffering Ether). Though we
are not prepared to use this information, we have been expecting it for a long
time. Therefore, the consequences of such a crisis will be much milder than the
previous ones. Especially as we have a grave experience of overcoming them.
