Nutritive
chitosan as biologically active additive
Nutritive chitosan obtained from the crustaceans
carapace is designed to be used both as a technological additive (a texturizer,
thickener, emulsifier) and a biologically active one — "Chitan".
It is recommended to use chitosan for
prophylactic and medical purposes to treat the following diseases:
- surplus body weight;
- disturbance in fat metabolism at
cardiovascular diseases for cholesterol binding;
- hypertonic disease.
The preparation is recommended to be taken daily
in three doses by 1.5 g immediately after a meal.
Course of treatment should be one month.
