| A DEVICE TO GENERATE PROBING ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION |
| A device to generate probing ultraviolet radiation usually comprises a source of ultraviolet radiation and a set of optic fibers. The newly-developed device includes a focusing lens and a unit to set up operation modes; the outlets of the unit are respectively connected with the inlets of the ultraviolet radiation source which is optically linked through the focusing lens with the inlets of the array of optic fibers whose outlets are the outlets of the device. The source of ultraviolet radiation is elongated.
