Additionally, target elevation is defined relative to target designator to set universal computer time in missile.   A METHOD OF FINDING UNDERWATER OBJECTS IN SHALLOW WATER SEAS
In accordance with the newly-developed method, pulses at the neighboring points are simultaneously emitted with various frequencies. Each point registers its own frequency echo signals and at least two other frequency signals generated by neighboring emitters located on both its sides. The distance between neighboring sending-receiving points is twice the sea depth. For any frequency receivable at the point, the echo signal travel time is limited by the time required for the pulses reflected from the sea surface to come in.
